AI isn't going to take your job. Someone using AI is going to be taking your job. Even in the nascent stage, I have seen incredible, mind blowing stuff. It will only be getting better at doing what it does.
Thank you for addressing that “🐘Elephant in the room” in this video. I was often asked, "What is the future of sketch artists and interior designers as AI rapidly advances?" and this video gives hope 😃
AI is a tempting tool, but if we use AI and don't exercise the mental thought processes involved with our skills and professions, we lose them similar to losing a foreign language or math (for non-math people that is). We have to understand what we need to do to maintain our minds. Without that, the human species will fall into the tempting lure of lazy living through AI, and in AI's cold, dead embrace, our souls will fall into its captivity, unable to live without it, and disintegrate away. Woooooo.... Now we can see how important it is to have a healthy independence and distance from AI while still being able to use it as a tool. Thank you for sharing how AI is affecting the field of interior design. I appreciate it!
I fully agree, we have to find the balance. I see a lot of value in AI tools. But I think the key word is tools. They help the process, they should not take over the process.... lets hope :)
A very interesting subject. I see AI would work together with the designer, ultimately AI will still require human interaction to keep it evolving and staying current.
