The only people worried about jobs going away are oligarchs & other psycho-sociopaths who think other people have their pathology so it worries them to think that the general population might realize history-present & end their ability to carry out their pathologies or behave as they have which would be horrific for those who've been holding positions of power. People in general don't work because they like to they aren't doing what they have to in order to survive in the hopes that there work will lead to the need for less work-slave labor so that they can follow their dreams or lessen their own servitude.
