[AI] The Shadow Over Innsmouth (H.P. Lovecraft Film) Midjourney and Runwayml 

"The Shadow Over Innsmouth" a film adaptation of the story "The Shadow Over Innsmouth" written by H.P. Lovecraft. I altered a LOT of the story for theatrical reasons and for financial reasons. This film cost thousands of dollars and thousands of hours to make. I've been working on it for 2 years. Hopefully you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it!
Everything in this video is completely copyright free and public domain! I wish I could sell the movie, but I don't know that it is on par with the quality that production companies, streaming services, etc are looking for. This movie is not perfectly crafted in terms of story and dialogue and was ended abruptly due to loss of finance, but I could easily change and perfect the film with monetary supplement. I used Midjourney and Runwayml to create this film. Midjourney was used to create the images and Runwayml was used to take those AI generated images and bring them to life by animating them.
AI generated video is still in its infancy and you currently cannot make characters or creatures or anything else for that matter that moves in a complex way move and dance and prance and climb walls and do backflips. The motion the tools allow you do to are very limited and basic such as simple walking (still hard to make happen), talking, basic small hand or leg movements, facial movements, etc.
Note: In no way do I regard this film as "great" or even "good" for that matter. I made this film because I am OBSESSED with HP Lovecraft. Once AI made something like this possible I decided to give it a shot in the dark and in my opinion it is somewhat aesthetically pleasing and impressive in terms of what A.I. is capable of doing. I would love to be a filmmaker someday and I just wanted to make sure that people understand that this wasn't intended to be a masterpiece or anything. I just wanted to give it a go and see where it took me. Thanks!
