I will never forget the rush I felt and that absolute happy feeling riding down the glacier. I was laughing the whole time.

I set off down this great ski route 28 years ago when I was 14 with my father, uncle and aunt. Same snow and same weather conditions. What great memories. Thank you for this stunning video, lot of sadness...

What a beautiful earth we live on

Brought my two kids there in Aiguille du Midi last February, just the three of us as my wife's on the other slope with her colleagues. The place was beyond awesome. But I have regrets as I was not able to set my feet on the void. I had altitude sickness and so were my kids. But this video completes it. The downhill or whatever you call that, is very soothing. And glad to see you finished your ride there in that very same place with the ludge. 😊👍 thank you for this video.

Hard to believe now I really skied that in 1984 on cross country skis with my mate Norm.

Was lucky enough to do this when I was about 13 years old. My Dad fell down a crevasse (a small one). My advice is cover up and put maximum sun block on any exposed skin unless you want to come out the end of it all resembling a burnt pancake.

You never see the local place the same again after Cham. Being a tiny spec a planet of white, skiing non stop run for 1+ 2+ even three hours its nuts.

Next time I'm in Chamonix this has got to be done ...

Awesome! I really want to do that! Will be at Tignes in about 2 weeks for a few days of skiing, then Chamonix for another 2, then will see if I am feeling up to it! How good does someone have to be? I am happy doing black runs down Brevent at Chamonix etc, but not fast, just taking it easy.
