Dear Salman Sahib, this was an exhilarating storytelling experience as usual. I'd also like to request an episode on DIG Waite of the Imperial Police who is buried in Chakwal. Warm Regards
Any historical account of these areas is fascinating. Good one sir. On a lighter note, once met a person of shinwari descent in the US, who claimed origins from Arabia just as you said.😅. Also tried to convince me that Ahmad shah Durrani was a benevolent man 🙂.
The most mindless notion among all us Indian-subcontinental converts to Islam is that we all came from Arabia. Indeed, Ahmed Shah was a very benevolent person!! I know from a Pakhtun friend from Charsadda that he was considered a villain even by Pakhtuns.
@@salmanrashid8880 🙂 . That’s interesting, Muslims from Kerala and Tamil Nadu mostly don’t exhibit that behaviour. Also could this kind of attribution to foreigners be due to the guilt or shame that we carry as “defeated people” in the subcontinent? Hence trying to associate with the “winner” in a manner of speaking.
Another enjoyable & hilarious episode as always. And thank you for having faith in our commitment to not let any stone unturned 😉 to destroy our heritage.........we will definitely not let you or anyone else down. Hehehehehehe Looking forward to more as always.
Thank you for busting popular myths. Perhaps Bollywood and all those who come up with delusional history can learn from your podcast. I am a bit puzzled, if, as you say Chandra Gupta Mauraya was a sadda Punjab da putter, then why make your capital in far away Pataliputra?
