Great when it works. Two controllers both broke multiple times within a couple months. AIM now is not responding to emails. I would avoid it at all costs!
@coolguyabc21 I actually bought one and have had problems with it since I got it. The d-pad started sticking, so I sent it in for repairs with a video of the issue. (Paid for shipping to and from Aim). As soon as I got it back, the d-pad was still sticking. I once again paid for shipping, and they still have my controller as we speak. Also, I've had 3 back paddles break in the 7 months I've had the controller. I play on an Xbox elite series 2 controller mostly. I don't feel like AIM's back paddles are durable enough, seeing that I don't even play with this controller half the time.
kind of a bummer the xbox controllers don't have re-map chip for the paddles. Do you know if Aim is planning on adding this? I see the PS controllers have this feature. Really the only thing holding me back from picking up an Aim xbox controller.
I’ve notice the aim controller you have is different then mine the ps5 one that is mine on the back is more beefy and mine looks heavier I’m sure it is and they change their paddles to a more stronger paddles
Anyone ever had to get repairs just had my second pad never had a problem with my first pad had it for 3 and a half year but had my new pad 2 weeks and the paddle snapped off in the middle of a game of S&D emailed them 3 days ago and still waiting for s reply
V1 Xbox paddles were perfect other than them been screw in and the screws losing shape over the years but had v2 spider paddles two weeks and my A paddle has snapped hoping it’s just a fault with the paddle and doesn’t happen again once they reply to my email and get it sorted
So the smart triggers won’t work for like rpg games? Really considering buying one of these. Since it’s only them that make in EU. Just sad about the none remapable back paddles.
just ordered mine for my Xbox, can't wait for it to get here, with the deal they got going on if you spend over 249 you get $60 off and then used your STALLIONS code got another 10 % off went from 249 to 179. Thanx for all the help I gave you a sub and keep the content coming brotha 👌
@J_pearce01 nah I switched from a regular xbox controller, it's super comfortable, I went with aim cuz their controller have a lifetime warranty, and the paddles or trigger on the back are easily accessible, the scuf one looked really uncomfortable trying to push up and down and stuff this one my fingers sit on them and just have to push it down, nothing gets in the way
@@J_pearce01the thumb pads do get kinda worn, but if u order the same size as what u have or a different one for better aiming, u can just pop off the joystick pads and put in the new one, they like $3 each
I don’t understand how paddles really work and how does it help with aiming? I really need better aim for Fortnite so I can stop missing AR and sniper shots. I used to be bad with shotgun too, but I’ve gotten better with that
To press jump in fortnite u need to lift your finger from the thumbstick, this means you cant move the thumbstick and look around while pressing the jump button( same with switch mode, edit, pickaxe etc) so when you have paddles you can bind these buttons so they are pressed with the middle finger. This means that u dont have to remove your thumb from the thumbstick when pressing jump which means that you have much more consistent aim when jumping but also being able to switch mode/edit much easier, so paddles wouldnt help much with sniper aim and long range AR since u sit still in the game, but they really take your game to the next level with building and fighting in general.
Any time you have to use the face buttons (switch guns, reload, jump) you sacrifice aim because you have to take your thumbs of the sticks. If you have paddles, you thumbs stay on the sticks and you can still jump, switch, reload etc while keeping your aim as good as your skill allows
Nice vid broham think bout to get the elite 2 got them on sale at GameStop right now had to go pick up new headsets(Rig 800lx) the cloud alpha’s I had were ok but yeah pain in ass to hook up splitter every time!
@@GamerHeavenOfficial man it’s kinda painful to drop 160 bucks on a elite 2 and it won’t stay connected on bluetooth(new evolve pc running windows 10) every time load destiny 2 I loss connection to my controller! Any hints broham?
