I think she only said "parts of it", but I don't know what part she didn't like in retrospect. I think she strives for perfection because she cares about her art. At least she's honest with her audiences, which I admire.

So true what you said. She played other hits stripped down to acoustic (which I think is how she actually starts writing her songs). The outdoor festival concert was moved into the church due to heavy rain, but the cost was only a ridiculously cheap donation. She/they made it quite affordable for the masses so I give her altruistic credit for that!

2lassies I used to live 45 minutes from Portsmouth, on the North Shore-I can relate only too well to the type of rainfall you have spoken of...Thank Heavens, now I am safely ensconsed in sunny and warm Hollywood, California!

Like anything else, music is a choice. You can stick to 1 or 2 genres because of pop culture or you can listen to a variety of them because good music is exactly that..good music. I’m 25 and I listen to anything that catches my ear especially ones like this..yet I have friends that laugh at me when I play this kind of stuff. I don’t understand it to be honest. Maybe it’s an IQ thing or maybe people’s brains are just made up differently but I think they almost try to not like the song because popular society says they should only listen to what the modern radio wants them to hear. This kind of music is still floating around somewhere in someone’s garage, but we’ll never hear it.

Rick Rodriguez I've only heard it at the grocery store once. It was 2 days after I recorded this. I ran into her at a cafe the morning after her Bethlehem, NH show (the following evening). I stopped at the grocery store on the way home and and just froze in disbelief when it came on. Wild that I saw her 3 days in a row in NH and hours later in VT I hear the original recording being played. Sometimes the universe just lines up in surprising ways.
