Biden has been doing a good job. He's done much more for the economy than Trump ever did. Trump rode Obama's economic coat tails and took credit for the positive work Obama did. Right before Covid, we were going into a recession. Covid saved Trump from the embarrassment of an economic disaster that his policies were causing. Biden brought us out of the Covid disaster. High prices are the fault of greedy corporations who have monopolies on our basic needs. Biden has been working to break up those monopolies. 16 Nobel Prize winning economists agreed last week that Trump's proposed economic policies will be a disaster for the country. Fortune 500 executives are not contributing to Trump's campaign for good reason.

Well, from the tactical side, the whole thing has probably moved a bit faster than is desirable for conservatives. It would have been better for all of this to be going on after the DNC, so that the Democrats would really be stuck with Biden. As it is, they might manage to sweep the whole thing under the rug with a suitable dark horse candidate. I think the two optimal times for the charade to have fallen apart would be during Biden's acceptance speech at the DNC, or as an October surprise.
