Momonga would spend large amounts of money in the gacha games to win the main prize, as a collector he even kept the low level trinkets he won so he's got all of these trinket level items to toss out, of course low level in Yggdrasil might not be low level in this New World.

The reason behind Touch Me's name is actually based 😂 I don't think they mention why he named himself that in the anime but the reason is in the light novel

@@jenjenhocho3188yes, Touch Me is one of the nine player on the server..that have World Champion class . I believe it's Warrior Takemikazuchi, he make a weapon to defeat his rival Touch Me, sad Touch Me retired so Warrior Takemikazuchi doesn't have passion on the game, so they both retired..at least the weapon Mk. 8 still in the storage guild

Whats funny is that Sebas voice actor is the same one that does Buggy in One Piece, Shigeru Chiba who is so good in making use of his voice when doing either low or high voices

Yes, but Sebas in english dub during season 1 was voiced by King Bradley (Fullmetal Alchemist), Saint Sengoku (One Piece (Pre Timeskip)), Mr. Iwamoto (Yu Yu Hakusho), and Jose Porla (Fairy Tail).

Most _villagers_ are considered level 1 so using a staff of resurrection which subtracts some level from the target would just turn the bodies to ash.

Slime`s author was inspired by Overlord and wrote that story, so your comparisons are not that far off, and yeah you will forget most information if you just watch it once and those infos will be important later, so don`t worry and just ask, people in comment will try to help.

Albedo's classes (I guess spoiler, but I don't think it really matters) Racial: -Imp (10) Job: -Guadian (10) -Black Guard (5) -Unholy Knight (10) -Shield Lord (10) There are "Others" but not detailed on her card. She is level 100. Stat wise she's pretty beefy all around but seems to favor tank, HP, Def, etc. Not really a magic caster. Also, Extreme Evil (like most in Nazarak From what I've seen, I believe classes have certain limits so some go to level 15, others 10, and others 5. I don't know how the mechanics work, but assumption is you level a class then at a point more class options appear, like advanced classes, The overall levels add together to reach the max level. It would be an interesting system. Humans do not have Racial levels, only non-human races. It looks like "Elves" are considered human. As Prez said, higher level spells are stronger. 10th is the highest.

Overlord is all about world building and dark comedy A couple of things you have to take into consideration to understand a lot of the actions of Ainz(Momonga). He is max level in Yggdrasil, but he doesn't know if someone is stronger than him in the new world He has only limited UI elements from the game, therefore he doesn't quite know if his spells work, his gear works or anything else. He has no idea if there are spells or items in the new world which could harm him Or if there are other players. He also has no idea if his NPCs will obey him, or if they usurp him if they think he is weak and incapable. If you consider all these facts about how he approaches everything, it makes total sense why he acts the way he acts, even though from a viewer perspective we know he is overpowered and possibly the strongest entity in the new world. We have meta knowledge he doesn't have.

minor thing in the game humans has classes however the inhuman chars like momonga had have both Race and Class levels and level 100 is the mix of the 2 together. so he got race in skelleton(to lich) as well as mage(nercormancy)

I'm late but feel like this should be said (if not in the comments already I didn't check them all) when he was talking about resurrection he was getting at a mage that can revive the dead will be pulled into many more trouble then a mage that causes death

All the good stuff is about to happen and i'm here for it. Also, yes, it is similar to slime or rather, slime is similar to overlord, it's just that overlord is darker and more realistic, while slime is brighter and idealistic. The light novels for overlord go way more into detail and explanation for actions, decisions and events. Lots of worldbuilding but also a good amount of inner monologues and discussions. An excellent read if you ever feel like reading low page count novels when you finish reacting to the anime.

Albedo's name means 'whiteness' in Latin, and her creator's name Tabula Smaragdina was based on The Emerald Tablet (en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerald_Tablet), also known as the Smaragdine Tablet or the Tabula Smaragdina. He was also a fan of both horror films and alchemy.
