The fight was definitely worth the hype!

Demiurge is IMO the perfect example of Absolute Loyalty. His top priority is to ensure the safety and survivial of Ainz, no matter what. Even to the point of going against Ains' orders. The only reason why he didn't even try to "escape" Albedo and Cocytus is the fact that he would stand 0 chance. So waiting and hoping for Ainz to return and being of service afterwards was his only real option. This scene is the reason why I don't believe in any of the "Demiurge is using Ainz for his own goals" (because Ainz basically follows all his plans) theories. Even Albedo and Cocytus know that he is loyal to the point of them having to contain him.

they slowed speed of fight for us to see what's happening and didn't show most of their magic attacks, since both ainz and shaltear were using the same attacks back to back, that's why ainz's mana suddenly went down so much. Really hope algorithm do it's job and suggest it to others, don't want u to stop halfway. :)

Only an Overlord(his race) who has dedicated themselves to death magic can gain the *Eclipse* class. When combined with an instant death skill, TGOALID turns everything in range into a dead zone where even the air itself dies. But the reason Ainz waited to use that is because he had to kill Shalltear _and_ the Einherjar at the same time. Einherjar has the same stats and equipment as the creator, but no magic. If Shalltear hit Ainz with magic from long range and used Einherjar to attack at close range from the beginning, he'd have been in a whole lot more trouble.

Imagine the screaming when watching episode 12 for the first time and getting a cliffhanger and having to wait a week, absolutely brutal. Aura used one of her spy tactics to distract Shalltear while Ainz cast that last spell, remember Shalltear calls Aura "shorty".

Idk if u know this but Ains Ooal Gown was the name of their guild back in the game, that’s why he sometimes refers to it in third person

Even though it sounds super cool and would fit a lot as an OP damage spell/skill/ability, "The Goal of all Life is Death" is actually a skill that removes any and all one-hit-kill immunities, with a delay. The actual one-hit-kill skill was "Cry of the Banshee" to which he added a modifier (i.e widen magic) to make the AoE bigger. Also, Shalltear is at about the strength of a multiplayer raid boss, for comparison. Also, the watch alarm was to remind him of the spell cooldown.

yeah they put Demiurge in a room with with his best friend and and closest work partner because they knew he was most likely to interfere regardless of orders.

as a side note :the watch was just a alarm for when his cool down for superteir magic was over. it got a long colldown(30 mins i think) before it can be used again. while fighting he can't spare the time to check it mid combat so set a alarm so he could focus completly on shalltear fight.

"Don't believe you can start a fight with Ainz Ooal Gown and come out unscathed" He isn't speaking in the third person, he's referring to Ainz Ooal Gown the guild. Also, the timer he set was the for [Fallen Down] cooldown, he planned the fight so that they reached that point at about that time.

21:34 I mean, every guild member of Ainz's guild that stopped playing the game gave all of their items to Ainz. And their World Items are stored at the treasury. Unless they had an op alt account, they can't get their hands on some powerful gear without going through Ainz first.

Fun fact: This is confirmed Ainz's power level is in the high end of mid tier players. While shalltear is at the bottom of high tier players. "Comparatively"

So with Shalltear being a vampire she has the same radiant weakness as Ainz. But since she is a paladin, she is essentially weak to her own magic.
