As much as I hated hated the air ride on my 2022 ram 1500 limited, I absolutely love the factory rear air.. the bags are huge and work amazing. Pulling 12500 and the drop doesn’t sag 1/4”. Plus factory control over he bags with leveling or letting all air out of the bags
@@xGR1MxREAPERx factory air ride will probably be on my next truck. Since doing this video, I added the air wireless one system. It sure beats carrying an air tank all the time.
I just installed these, didn't even have to take wheels off. Squeezed out all the air folded like a hot dog bun and zip tied it. Stretched suspension slightly and they popped right in between the coils.
Thinking about getting a set of these bags for my 19 ram. Just picked up a 7800lb bumper pull camper and the truck towed it fine but im hoping to help reduce the bounce when I go over the bumps at speed. looks like its not too hard of an install but Ill probably pull the wheels when I start.
It really was an easy install. It put my truck level with the 5th wheel, but if the trailer is bouncing, it will transfer to the truck. I am going to add a Lippert shock kit to our 5th wheel to help with this problem. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for watching Christian. Interesting. If you look at the first 5 pictures in the link in my description, the brackets match what I showed in the video. The brackets in the 6th picture match Air lift 57345 shown in this link. www.amazon.com/dp/B000CFRZWO/ref=syn_sd_onsite_desktop_0?ie=UTF8&psc=1&pd_rd_plhdr=t&aref=I4L5pnxgov
If you keep the recommended 5lbs of air in the bags, it will give a slightly stiffer ride. We don't have many dirt/gravel roads around here, so I can't give you a good answer, sorry.
