Interesting, you guys skip the static system check. After chocking the tires and before applying the service brake, we release the parking brake then look and listen for any leaks, expecting an air loss of 2psi or less. Is that just something extra we do in our district?
I have a question! Bus driver newbie here and today when I parked my bus I put in neutral, then applied parking brake while holding the service brake down and there was an air horn sound and a sudden loss of pressure. Is this normal? It’s a Gillig bus
@2:54 @@williamstanton7721but I've tested in NY and California. I've seen people in both States fail for not buckling up before touching any buttons behind the wheel. Other than that, this was a great video.
