This was AWESOME AND BRUTAL, Flying a Marchetti with "Rocket" gave me the ride of my life on this plane. Thanks to AirCombatUSA, they make you experience what It is to be a fighter pilot for a day.
Important note!! Don't eat a hamburger an hour before your flight or you'll probably feel sick almost at the end of the flight like me haha.

I did it years ago out of Long Beach. I had never flown a real plane before but I had done some flying on the computer. My pilot was very uncommunicative and unhelpful. Not knowing what to do and without instruction, at “fight’s on” I flew an Immelmann and shocked the heck out of my instructor. I did not, however, end up on the tail of the other plane. The experience was totally worth it including the tunnel vision and the partial red out.

I flew this a few years ago. My “IP” was a German Air Force F-4 Pilot (retired) call sign Baron. I’ve been flying since I was 15, lots of models/types,, but never never never any profile like this. I flew the Marchetti against “Nails” in an Extra 300. Tied, of course, as I’m sure they want repeat business from everyone, lol. I have to tell you that this event was one of the most memorable of my very accomplished life. If you are hesitating to go because of money, please spend the cash. The money won’t last, no matter what, and this memory is everlasting and solo. You, and you alone. No matter who comes and goes in your life, this experience belongs to you. Go for it. I might just do it again, if they come to Tampa!

Did this out of Fullerton in 2000… Baron was the instructor my dad had in the “enemy “ airplane.

Not as easy as it looks on RU-vid. I did this in the late 90's with a friend. Me, with about 70 hours of Cessna flight on the books almost barfed my guts out after 45 mins of ACM. Nevertheless, it was worth the price of admission to learn what it means to be a fighter pilot at the most basic level. Thanks Jared for the memories!

I did this with a friend in 1997 out of San Jose, CA. What a kick in the butt! Still have the videos (tapes) that I have converted to CDs. This was a lifetime experience that I'll never forget! I think "Rocket" was flying with my friend

That poor guy. I've never considered out fatiguing the other pilot. If he/she is puking on the 1st or 2nd go, the last 4 should be easy. I'm going there soon. Anybody wanna come get some?

This is a lot harder than many think. This run was pretty tame...dude wasn’t enjoying it as he should be...I would recommend the formation flying first or better yet go to any airfield and get up in a 172 for an hr or two...much cheaper and you will find a ton of good pilots looking for hrs, even hand you the stick. If you want to see what these guys do...check out this vid, these are just two friends who play DcS flight SiM...but in this vid they’re giving it their all. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7S7M8IYizK4.html

It's tragic that you screwed up the entire experience by playing all that fucking music. That dude is so fucking cool he took my kid up in a plane when my kid was eight years old and my other kid was 11 years old. My kid was so small he had to sit on a parachute pack and none of the stuff fit him and he puked into a little bag at the end. My other guy was a natural and was doing barrel rolls and stalls his first time in the air. I cannot tell you enough how wonderful it was to give that gift to my kids. I did not go up. I did not need to.

Just to get some fresh air, with the adrenaline you start to sweat a lot and there's no air conditioning.

Pulling + and - G’s is harder than many think and he was about to loose his lunch...it screws with the equilibrium...takes a lot to adjust to

This is a dogfight right? Supposed to be yanking and banking not flying a fighter like it’s your grandfather’s Bonanza. Instructor even looked bored.

@@jaredhernandez217 You did great. I've done mild aerobatics in a glider and I can only imagine what you felt in those turns! Thanks for posting it was great fun to watch.

I can tell you first hand that if you have never done this before, it is a sensory overload just to keep the plane flat and level and THEN you have to listen to instructions. These are very responsive Italian fighter trainers. They told us that they would pull 6 g's. At 3 g's I started getting the dry heaves, but I wouldn't let up

I also have to say that this dweeb pilot was brain dead. The IP says look left, there he is right there......and the dweeb is staring straight ahead. That first “kill” that he got, they damned near had to take over controls while flying straight and level to get the bandit in the pipper and even then had to have some power management. I’d REALLY like to see a flight with a typical civilian pilot. I can find the DVD of my flight (an ex wife)......God, would I love to have that!
