I am making wall pockets with air dry clay in this video. It is simple to use and no kiln is required. It usually take 2 to 3 days for mine to dry but I keep them covered in plastic so I can go back and work on them as they firm up.

I LOVE wall pockets! An overlooked craft in my opinion. Yours are so cute. I've made them out of clay, fused glass, paper mache, wood... They are so much fun to make and you can decorate an entire wall with them. I agree, crafting while it rains outside is the best. Have a wonderful, creative day.

It really feels like normal clay when working it and it drys pretty hard, not kiln fired hard but hard. I love that Das comes in terra cotta, white and a grey flecked stone color.
