Das Bundesamt für Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik und Nutzung der Bundeswehr (BAAINBw) hat im September 2018 die Lieferung des letzten Tiger-Unterstützungshubschraubers (74+70) für die Nutzung durch die Bundeswehr akzeptiert. Dieser Hubschrauber ist mit einem 13 Meter langen, vierblättrigen, gelenklosen Hauptrotor ausgestattet und kann an verschiedenen Einsätzen teilnehmen, darunter die in diesem Video gezeigte Luftbegleitung, die Bekämpfung von Kampfpanzern, die Unterstützung luftbeweglicher Operationen, die Unterstützung von Bodentruppen, der Schutz von Konvois, bewaffnete Aufklärung und die Bekämpfung von hochwertigen Zielen.
Insgesamt wurden 68 Tiger-Hubschrauber von Airbus Helicopters Deutschland geliefert, wobei der erste Tiger Kampfhubschrauber im Jahr 2005 übergeben wurde. Diese Tiger werden vom 36. Kampfhubschrauberregiment (36 KHR) mit Sitz in Fritzlar betrieben. Um die anhaltende Einsatzbereitschaft der Tiger-Hubschrauberflotte der Bundeswehr sicherzustellen, ist ein umfassender Überholungsplan vorgesehen, um mehr als 30 veraltete Hubschrauber zu modernisieren. Diese missionsbezogenen Upgrades umfassen sowohl Hardware- als auch Softwareverbesserungen mit dem Ziel, diese Hubschrauber für ein breites Spektrum zukünftiger Missionen und Herausforderungen auszurüsten.

The Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology, and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) has accepted the delivery of the final Tiger (74+70) support helicopter in September 2018 for use by the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). This helicopter is equipped with a 13m-long, four-bladed hingeless main rotor and is a versatile multi-role attack aircraft capable of operating day and night and in challenging conditions engaging in various missions, including air and ground escort demonstrated in this video, battle tank engagement, airmobile operations support, ground forces support, convoy protection, armed reconnaissance, and engaging high-value targets like anti-tank warfare and air-to-air combat.
A total of 68 Tiger helicopters were delivered by Airbus Helicopters Deutschland, with the first aircraft being handed over in 2005. These Tigers are operated by the 36 Attack Helicopter Regiment (36 KHR) based in Fritzlar. To ensure the continued operational effectiveness of the Bundeswehr's Tiger helicopter fleet, a comprehensive overhaul plan is set to modernize over 30 aging helicopters. These mission-oriented upgrades will encompass both hardware and software enhancements, with the aim of equipping these aircraft for a broad spectrum of future missions and challenges.

It includes the manufacturer's construction / serial number (MSN), current and past registration, type and upgrades of version, year of construction, current location, country, owner/operator, and operator's address/ contact details when wanted.
