Nice video,, audio was excellent, and coverage was great... I am Ex US Navy and at sea even though we see them every day, its not a display like this. They just go along side of the ship match speed and move to the right and land. But in fairness I know they are watching out for the ship and the superstructure. And I see your Luftwaffe sign every time you come to Nellis AFB for events on your jets.

Hallo MUC-Spotter, kleiner Tipp von mir, stell bei Aufnahmen der CH-53 und anderen Hubschraubern die Belichtungszeit der Kamera fest auf 1/50 und der Rotor sieht dann viel natürlicher aus.

Der 85+05 stand doch Modell für das maßstabsgetreue 1:48 Modell von Revell! Oder nicht?

Es sind keine "Sea Stallion", sondern eine CH53G und eine CH53GS. Die deutsche Version unterscheidet sich in einigen Punkten von der amerikanischen Sea Stallion. Bis auf 2 Stück wurden die CH53 der deutschen Luftwaffe auch alle in Deutschland gefertigt. Derzeigt gibt es 4 Versionen. Die CH53G (Standard Version), CH53GS (mit verbesserter Avionik, ELOKA Upgrade zur Abwehr von Lenkflugkörpern, Zusatztanks), CH53GE (entspricht weitestgehend der GS, aber ohne Zusatztanks) und CH53GA (modernste Version mit Glascockpit, hochleistungsfähiger Avionik, Kollisionswarnsystem, IFR Tauglichkeit und vieles mehr). War bei der Bundeswehr Mechaniker auf dem Schätzchen, war ne geile Zeit.

These look like the "D" models with stub wing tanks. The new "E" models are even more impressive with a additional 3rd engine, sloped tail rotor and greater range and lifting capabilities....

The pilot's skill is on GOD level... This helicopter is a beast for sure...but, isn't it a MH-53E? A CH-53E isn't black, right?

Not an E and NOT a Sea Stallion. A slightly modified CH-53D. The CORPS flies the Stallions, and only the CORPS. The sled dragging "Miners" in the Navy think they have a Stallion, but not really..Shhhh, we don't tell them though, might hurt their pride. Haaaaaaaa
