Quick and Easy Hamburgers in your air fryer... from the freezer to your table in under 20 minutes... thanks for stopping by...#jelly007 #airfryer #instantpot #ninjafoodi
After such a success with your ziti recipe, I followed your instructions with some frozen burgers we had. Husband said they were just as good as when he grills them outside on his beloved grill 😊 love your videos!! Thank you for helping me know how to use my Foodi!!
Summary of this overlong video: Preheat to 375 F, cook for 7-8 minutes, season, flip, cook for another 7-8 minutes. My addition: Let the burger rest for a few minutes so it reabsorbs the juices.
@@Anne6621 Time is our most precious resource. As a veteran teacher with 30 years experience, I taught my students by making explanations as short as possible. I didn't say this stressed me out; I found it superfluous. I despise people who put words in other people's mouths, as you just did.
Amazing video! I enjoyed your enthusiasm and the tutorial on how to cook frozen patties in the air fryer. I have the dual Ninja Air Fryer and I’ve been cooking a lot of delicious food in it. I’m trying out the frozen angus burgers right now for the first time! I’m excited to see the end results.
My son bought me an 8 quart Ninja Foodie a few months ago and I'll admit I was a little intimidated. But after checking different websites and such I came across your RU-vid and I got relaxed enough to get going. Thank you for your guidance and instructions. I'm trying these burgers you bet. Love my Ninja Foodie!
You will love the device... it is really useful and the burgers are impressive!!! Very glad to hear i helped and thank you for sharing that!!! Let us know how they turn out!!!
Not even going to pretend I like frozen burgers. As a rule I generally steer very far away from them. Especially after growing up on those "Chuckwagon Burgers". But after getting my air fryer (Instant Omni Plus) and coming across this video, wow. Ok so they were good, and my opinion on frozen burgers has been forever changed. Your time and temp worked perfectly in my Omni Plus. 375 for 20 minutes, flipping at 10 min and salt + pepper on both sides then 10 minutes on the flipped burgers came out at exactly 160 internal temp. Great vid! And thanks for being so thorough!
It does say in the instructions on the instant vortex air fryer to not spray with aerosol but you have a pump spray so that’s good I see so many people with an aerosol cans spraying their machines and it says in the directions to not use an aerosol can spray it will leave a nasty film on your machine parts
I think I am going to get bubba burgers, I love the fact that your are getting at a pretty cost efficient 💓 from now on will stock up. Love this with a NY sharp cheddar
We've gotten Sam's club 100% Angus burgers from Walmart along with their brioche rolls. They were fantastic! The only ingredient is Angus beef. I cook them on the grill or the Foodi until they are 130°F in the center. Definitely cheaper than ground beef from our grocery store as well.
My favorite so far has been the costco patties. Though we grill them with the ninja foodi grill. I'm sure they would be equally awesome in the air fryer part :)
I might look at those too... don't have a local Costco but I have a membership and get by there every once in awhile... and i feel sure i will try them on the Ninja grill very soon!!! Thanks for watching!!
I have a Foreman style grill, but I love the crispy texture the burgers get in the Ninja Foodi. I do them at 360 for 5 minute. Then I crank it up to 400 for the last 10 minutes. Don’t ask me why. That’s just how they come out best to me. I’ve never tried Bubba’s. I either go for Members Mark at Sam’s or Great Value at Walmart. The Members Mark come in 1/3 lbs and Great Value in 1/4 lbs. That makes a difference. But I usually cook them the same anyway. I’m going to start doing sausage in the Foodi too.
I will probably be trying those member marks before long...i think the 1/3 pound is a very good size and I shop at Sam's a lot... thanks for the info and thank you for watching!!!
Wow, you must really like them well done. I would have pulled mine between 140-150 but I like my a little medium. I cook those on the stove and always dry them out so it's time to try another way.
I own both Ninja's , I prefer the grill..plus you get the infamous grill marks. My wife and I enjoy Bubbas'..I cook onions and mushrooms, with american cheese, slightly toasted potatoe rolls, tomato , lettuce...AWESOME !!
I get the coolness of air fryers, but I cook my bubbas on a cast iron pan, i drop frozen for 4 min 1 side on medium and 4 min other side, season then cheese while all the while basting with browned butter. I promise you will love them better this way, plus way more flavor and WAY faster.
I really enjoy the practical frozen to cooking examples you do. I wonder if there is a way to put 4-5 burgers in the ninja, perhaps with the trivet. I have yet to try a frozen burger, I'll certainly have to give it a whirl.
I would think it could be done although I have not tried it... but...i have started air frying frozen burgers and it had became one of my most favorite things to do in my air fryer... can't wait to try burgers and fries in the new dual basket air fryer I just reviewed... take a look at it if you haven't... could be a game changer... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iguxMr-CuAE.html
Ithink you will be impressed and I'm sure it would work just as good in a air fryer that hasn't been pre heated... in fact I may do that on the next one I cook...thanks for watching!!!
@@JohnSanders I have to admit I made some amazing steaks in it in broil I made some amazing ribs pork ribs in 30 minutes they were amazing they weren’t fall off the bone with they were very very tender I made filet mignonette and they were amazing I made pork chops they were amazing the filet mignon I did that on the broiler I have a broiler on mine they were so tender and amazing
I just did that today. Put 2 Bubbas in at 375 for 13 minutes. When it reached 10 minutes, I added a handful of frozen fries to each corner and pushed the drawer back in. Burgers needed 2 additional minutes to reach a nice med-rare to medium. Left the fries in the entire time, shaking when prompted. So, so good. ***note that I followed the air fry times given on the bag of fries, which is how I knew to put them in at the 10-minute mark. Everything was perfect and no smell in the house. Love it!
John is the best. I bough my Ninja foodie because of him and won't try anything new without searching for his video. Even my wife started saying "there's nothing wrong with that" lol
I have tried to cook burgers on the stove for years and I always end up over cooking them. I live in Canada, can't get Bubba Burgers here or have seen them. I noticed you showed us a line of a few different brands of burgers in the supermarket. Can you use Frozen Angus burgers and do them the same in the Ninja Foodi?
Less splatter I guess and not as much monitoring... maybe... but the health benefit of it not sitting in oil is also a big thing...thanks for watching!!!
I didn't notice any grease splatter on the lid and the smoke only happened at one point...i think if i had checked and flipped it sooner it would have been better... no smoke alarm though!! Hope this helps and thanks for watching!!!
You want some great burgers buy the fresh walmart Angus burgers in meat case, best ever had and only ones I'll buy. my problem with these pressure/fryer combo cookers is multiple lids. Not hard to make one lid with internal removable cover, on for PC off for AF. it covers fan/heating coil when pressure cooking removed for air frying, digital controls will detect and adjust display even do away with pin and use digital controlled value.
Mr. John, your videos are great! I bought a ninja foodi over a month ago and have only used it once but the takeout bill have encouraged me to go back to it. LOL period and just the other day I bought some Bubba Burgers. I'm going to make them right now!
John, one reason I love your videos is you cook the same foods I do. My husband was a meat and taters man, so that’s what I cooked. I LOVE Bubba burgers! Not only do they taste great, but I love that you cook them frozen! Have you cooked them in the Instant Pot Duo Crisp? I’m awaiting the arrival of mine, but I’m wondering if I should have bought the Foodie instead. Their crisper basket seems to be a lot better than Instant pot. Have you had any issues with coating coming off the fryer baskets on either of these machines? I really appreciate all these videos, and your advice!
I like the basket in both machines... the pro crisp and the Foodi will both go to 450° and I do like that feature over the Duo crisp but I've never had an issue with either of them chipping... hope this helps and thanks for watching!!!
I want a pink center not red but just a little pink I don't like them well done. But that's everybody's preference to do them as far as they like them. I never tried bubba burgers because they were so expensive but now I'm going to buy some!
Thanks again John for the video and recipe...I will definitely be trying Bubba Burgers....I've seen them at the store, but didn't really pay attention to them until I saw your video....Hey my friend, I see you got a haircut....how?...oh, that's right...you are in GA....good for you...I'm still hanging on and haven't resorted to the clippers....the part I can see on me is ok...it's the back that I'm afraid is a bit out of control...LOL Take care!!!
I actually cut my own hair for the first time ever...i used some wahl clippers I got at dollar general...lol... this might be my norm...thanks for watching!!!
@@JohnSanders That's what I have for clippers...I used to cut my and my son's hair long ago, but haven't for some time...have been holding off....Good job on the haircut John...
Thank you for posting! I have one question. Did the burgers smoke while cooking? I've learned by trial and error, certain things i cook will smoke so i just bring the fryer on the patio to cook 🤔
Yes... a little but not enough to set off smoke alarms... and that is a good thing...lol...i have found that 80/20 does smoke a little more but not any worse that in a skillet as far as total smoke emitted...thanks for watching!!!
Congratulations pawpaw and Grandma! :-) I have adopted grandchildren and they call me Nanny because my grandmother I called her nanny. They don't have a grandfather but they sure do like Nanny's presents and her money! :-) haha
I don't have my ninja foodi any longer. I even tried to sell it and I couldn't give it away! When I bought this house on March 29th was the closing I moved on April 17th and I had to leave it back in the apartment it was never used and someone will get good use out of it. I found that even the lid was too heavy for me to pick up a loan and it was purchased so that I could cook alone when I don't have a caregiver. But now I can make anything I want in the Ninja air fryer I just purchased including scrambled fried poached and hard boiled eggs. :-)
I have the Instant Air Fryer Oven. I just love it. I just had to get use the times and Temps. I will have to try the Big Bubba Burgers in it. Thanks for sharing your video and experience with us it's greatly appreciated. I subbed to your channel
Thanks... not only upside down but backwards Steve...lol... that is a neat trick... very glad to have you aboard and I'm glad you enjoyed it the video!!!
I will probably do them before long...i have family members that I think would like them... maybe do a video but at the very least I will let you know if I have issues or if anything is very different with the method...thanks for watching!!!
Every cook is a little different so It's always a good idea to check with an instant read thermometer to make sure it's at safe temp...thanks for watching!!!
