Great. Thanks for sharing this. I make this namkeen every week and I dryrost everything. It takes so long to do, but never thought that all this can be roasted in air fryer. 👍
It will not give the same flavor as air fried or deep fried. If no air fryer, I would suggest simply deep frying all the ingredients and mixing everything
Yes we can roast Poha on gas or stove individually too. Shallow fry all the nuts to add and mix. Season them as shown in the end with oil curry leaves etc
Is it me or were your poha flying around in the air fryer? The poha was abt half the amount you put in to begin with and looks like it had all fallen down the sides.
I just bought air fryer cum otg & was looking for some recipes. But am a bit disappointed all this seems to be a hassle with airfryer... while all this can be prepared in a non stick kadahi in lesser time 🤔
I used to do it on kadai as well... I tried my own recipie in airfryer and it came out well.... One benefit in airfryer is that you don't need to stir it constantly as you woukd do it in kadai.... And i woukd suggest sorinkling some salt water to everything being roasted as the salt won't stick to it when added later... Do give it a try...
इतना drama करने की क्या ज़रूरत थी बहिन। You could have easily made it in a pan/wok/kadahi much quicker, and still maintaining low or no oil… Even if you have an air fryer, it really looks a hassle to make fried poha in it..
In microwave oven, one is not advised to use metallic utensils since microwaves do not pass through metals… Air fryer does not emit any waves, just hot air, that’s why air fryer is a better and healthier option than microwave oven..
