Nice! Pizza tip: sprinkle cheese thicker on the outermost part of the pizza dough by the crust and thinner toward the middle! Cheese always gravitates towards the center... this will prevent the cheese from building up at the center and from pulling away from your edges! Much more even coverages 🤤
I agree with the difference in cooking time. As i used my Airfryer for the first time i cooked chicken nuggets after the packaging direction and produced briquettes :-)
It's just really nice to have these foods come out so good with less grease and without always using the oven. Especially when cooking for myself only. The pizzas seem like they could be good as a family thing, everyone makes their own pizza how they like it kinda deal
I have 5.8qt air fryer, I use it all the time. Yes, the cooking time is shorter. I made breaded pork hops tonight, they were fantastic. It is one of the best kitchen gadgets to have.
I have a way to use fresh made pizza dough.... I use a round piece of HD foil under the pizza. WOW.. totally great results. The crust is not too brown on the bottom, but it still makes a great pizza!
tbh i only use the air fryer to reheat fried foods, microwaved french fries aren’t great, and sure you can heat them up in an oven or a pan with a little oil, but if you can’t go through all that, put it in an air fryer for maybe 3-5 minutes and it turns out just as good. it reheats food amazingly.
You are an Inspiration to me. I have an air fryer an I love it. I am in a wheelchair too an cook at the kitchen table and find the air fryer is a convenient and healthy option for cooking.
I got an air fryer a couple of weeks ago, and I love the contraption too. Nothing has turned out less than perfect. Fries definitely cook a lot quicker than the manufacturer’s recommendations too. Just got to monitor and figure out some things on my own regarding this device.
I totally agree with using last time for the air fryer. I have found that even the recipe book that came with my air fryer doesn't have the exact right times. Keep up the great work Larry. We the people love your videos!
I have a Philips Essential and picked up frozen personal size DiGiorno and saw that they had air fryer directions. Pop in microwave for a short period and then pop it in air fryer. Best personal size pizza I've had. Glad I bought two
just got an air fryer and totally love it - am excited to see you using one and hope you do more videos with it. one my favorite things to make: plop FROZEN chicken legs in air fryer - set 400% for 30 min (flip half way) - while HOT generously coat with favorite bbq sauce and let rest for 10 minutes - the heat turns the sauce into a sticky glaze. so easy & good
I bought an air fryer on black Friday for $40 I absolutely love that thing. I've cooked burgers, steaks, chicken , brats, and even frozen food such as mozzarella sticks, I coated chicken breast with shake n bake and it was the best chicken I've ever cooked
Hi Larry, I don’t remember if I commented on this video before or not, but yes I love my air fryer! It cooks everything great, I’ve never cooked something in it I wasn’t satisfied with, I recently upgraded to the largest air fryer basket I could find, and it has an insert kit that has many things like a cake pan, mini omelet/muffin pan, a cooling rack, and a pizza pan, and they’re all great and where all together on amazon for $15 Anyway, love your content, hope you can continue so we can all enjoy cooking and beer together
On the strength of your demonstration of The Habor Air Fryer you tested last year, with chicken, I purchased one as a Christmas present for my wife. I am not joking, nor am I sorry! You are an excellent presenter, and the Habor Air Fryer is The Bomb!! My wife loves it because she gets to watch me prepare meals on this thing. She hardly ever uses it. These are some of the dishes I've prepared to date: grilled cheese sandwiches, cheeseburgers, steak, Tator Tots, French fries, Chicken wings, Chicken Thighs using the KFC "secret recipe" of "11 secret herbs and spices", and a variety of sandwiches too numerous to mention. Everything was better out of this air fryer. Not just grease-free, but much more flavorful. All I can say is: Thank-You!
I am the same way, love mine. I ever did boiled eggs yesterday. didn't even need to put in cold water for the shells to come off easy. You need less time and temp most times. I love chicken too. Just sprinkle ur fav spices on the outside. Some things like cheese sandwiches need to be weighted down so the top slice of bread stays put. Write down your times and temps for individual items for later. Oh one of my favs is sweet potaloes . No oil on skin. I do about 280 for an hour or so and the skin just falls off. Still tweaking the time and temp.
I appreciated your recommendation on the air fryer bro! I ended up using your coupon code and bought one for myself. Everything cooks up superset and comes out delicious. Thanks again!
Also agree on the shorter cooktimes. I have one for about a year now and cooked many things in it. Much healthier if u see how much grease comes out some food, while still tasting the same! Even some food that should go in a deepfryer normally, has come out good for me
I'm going to have to check out these air fryers - they seem to be all the rage these days. If Larry likes it, i trust him enough to try one. That Taco pizza sounds/looked delicious. But it was crying out for some pickled jalapenos!
I got a Philips Air Fryer for Christmas and I definitely agree with the cooking speed. I cooked my first batch of fries as instructed in the package for a normal oven and they were hard as a rock, for the next batch I halved the cooking time and they turned out perfect.
I'm the voice of we the people, and I'm the type who says what others think. If I catch u on the street it's on sight bro. Ur voice and cooking skills just got u stone cold stunned!
I just got an air fryer for Christmas and am curious about how you can do steak in there. Having had bariatric surgery a year ago I’m always looking for ways to get more quality protein.
The Gourmia one from Costco put the steak on the middle rack from frozen preheat it with the steak on the rack flip halfway through depending on the thickness you can tell if it's done. A inch and a half tenderloin was about 17 mins. Chicken Cordon Blue the frozen put the cheese side down cook for 7 30 mins flip it for the remainder 7 30 comes out good. Burgers 4mins a side. Scallops is 3 mins. Natchos 4 mins but layer with parchment paper. Chicken pieces season or bread it's about 20 mins flip halfway through.
Air fryer pizza is a great way to use up leftover meats. I did just did some pizzas yesterday and I used some left bbq chicken and steak along with a couple slices of ham. I also used some naan flatbread for the crust and it turned out great. The only thing I found with the air fryer is that pizza mozzarella melts very fast in it.
Hey I wore my wolfpit t-shirt on Christmas, LOL I love your videos and your sense of humor is phenomenal keep up the good work Larry, glad you're feeling better, PS stop painting your fingernails, lamo
where i live our taco pizza recipe is as follows, for the pizza sauce it is half taco sauce and half re fried beans mixed together, then taco meat, mozzarella cheese and raw onions then bake, when the pizza is done add tomatoes, shredded lettuce and taco Doritos chips
I've been using mine for a couple of years. Usually I start with the time & temp in the instructions, but reduce the time and keep or slightly increase the temp. You can always cook it longer, you can't uncook cremated food. : )

Yes Larry, they cook about 20 to 50% faster than a conventional oven. Smaller space and forced air convection does the job well and fast. The Power Air Fryer XL is the model I have. Looks like a big red egg. It has a true electric heating element coil. (Not some weak ass Halogen Quartz light). I have fallen in love with it too. As for longevity, I have had it for about 2yrs. and It's still working fine.
I just got a almost brand new Phillips one for 26 bucks at Savers *thrift store in my state, value village in others* the damn thing sells for 200+ and I love it
Yeah bruh, these little units are amazing. Nothing refreshes stale bread so well. It's basically a low-rent convection oven since it rapidly heats and circulates the air. They make hoagie rolls perfectly crispy once you toss your schnitzel or sandwich or whatnot in. I've done 3-4lbs roasts, pierogies, and even corned beef hash from a can. Perfect. Stale fries come back to life. But the best is really pork chops. I think I've gotten shrimp tails cooked through as well, been a while. Always great when you can conveniently eat the shell.
I bought one of those air fryers on your recommendation and it is indeed fantastic. I have retired my oil fryer which was hard to maintain anyway. I will next try the pizzas.
