I’ve just cut a yellow vileda cloth to size and then doubled with the felt on the out side of the curlers. This has made a considerable difference in noise reduction Lovely snug fit. Try that and let me know how you find it.
I found another washer. Kept the first roller long from the barrel and then split the others so I had 3 baffles about an inch apart then the end cap. This super quietened it down. Must be in that order. From barrel end long roller then washer. Then split others equally. Works very well.
You can unscrew the cap with 7mm allen key and you can use hair curler scotch brite and baffle combo in it and it will be more quieter ... 😊 Nitehawk's mod.
Buy a long 225mm Air Soft Mock Silencer 40mm dia, any style as you like + a 14mm adapter from Ebay. Wrap the Air Rifle silencer with felt or foam and slide this inside Mock Silencer. You can play around with the internals of the original silencer as much as you wish, baffles, rubber washers, hair curlers or springs, felt or metal mesh/scouring pad. You will not achieve silence, you are moderating/suppressing the noise generated and changing the tone. Increasing the size of the silencer and effectively double glazing it does have quite an impact.
