Bro, Chris knows so much. I wish he was like the official marketer for Air Jordan because I feel like he might be one of the last people who knows all the history of this stuff and could revive it back to keep the OG spirit alive

The funny thing I’ve noticed about having a lot of shoes recently…They all stay in excellent condition. I rotate through my 50+ pairs regularly so I really haven’t gotten any significant creases. I would think many with these would not wear them enough to wear out the patent leather, just my thoughts. 🤔

I had the patent leather Chicago’s freshman year and I wore them to death. It was amazing. Those are my all time favorite shoe. I wish JB releases them again; this time in high cut.

The "Family" stitching is normally reserved for Jordan brand athletes/ambassadors etc. when they get sent shoes from Jordan brand

Yessir. Hoping for a W next Thursday. Haven’t had patent leather 1’s since ‘03. I had two jumpman keychains. I had the 01 midnight navy mids and 03 black/gold patent leather mids.

I'm practicing restraint....Definitely passing on these. The patten leather alone cracking ain't cool. I would have preferred a partial patten leather preferably to the heal area leaving the front end leather. Or even if the would have done a half leather nubuck or even nubuck 1 but the patten leather alone is too much for me

The general sneaker community is not going to accept applying a matte finish to these because you should just get the 2016s. But the one advantage to applying is that you get the family stitching which you cannot on the 2016s.
