2012 looks way better. 2019 looks like boots from the back. And that white trim is throwing me off

2012 way better cleaner look more sleeker!! No reason for the white outline around the leather

I had the 2019 it looks fake even legit cause the carbon fibre is weird , also the white trim looks un professional. 2012 looks more cleaner

Did you get them from stock x..I was going to order from stock x but the disclaimer of: may have cracks, may be yellowing, may not be wearable due to how old The shoes is..scared me so I didn’t buy it…how was your 2012 pair and where did you cop from ..🙏🏿 appreciate you

@@Jacob.144 i got mine from grailed. The seller wore them a couple times but they were VNDS and had no creasing or anything to them. I wear them pretty often and had 0 issues with them. I def wouldnt get them from stock x because they are dead stock and sat in a box the whole existence i lowkey would just buy a super clean worn pair online

I bought a pair of 12’s they look and feel solid for being 10 years old now. No yellowing. Beautiful shoe. I think it way cleaner looking than the 19. 19 looking like a damn boot! White patent leather cut ugly too!

@@ripscrew4135 I’ve worn my pair out at least 10 + times no issues. As long as you’re not leaving them in a garage, or your car, storage etc. where the temperatures can get high or low you’ll be in good shape. Too much heat or cold is what causes the glue to come undone on the sole. Sitting in your room though at room temperature wearing them out when it’s nice won’t harm them at all. Just make sure you’re buying a pair from a reputable source and that they have been stored well. I think you’ll be happy with them! Much sleeker than the 19.

@@ripscrew4135 Stock X in 2022. Hey man they are both nice. I just prefer the 12 for above reasons. If you like the bigger look go for the 19. If you’re more into a sleeker light weight look/feel the 12 is that.

Nah he really not these 2019 were mass produced frfr they made to many of them and cut to many corner, literally no padding n the carbon is plastic lol they look like a fake pair of 11s imo

Is that deadstock "2012" pair even wearable? I wanna buy a "2012" pair instead I like those better but the shoe is 8 years old going on to 9 and I'm kinda tripping they won't be wearable since I'd be getting a brand new... I didn't cop the "2019" pair cuz I don't like them man lol

The reason I ask if they're wearable is because like I said the shoe is almost 9 years old, and I've heard that if you try wearing an old shoe from back then and you didn't break it in they're not wearable... I don't want to spend almost 450 on a shoe I can't wear fam lol

2019 all day. Better quality and they made it as close to possible as the OGs which is important, to me at least. The 2012s were way tight on my foot and that low cut patent leather just doesn’t look good compared to the high cut

the 2019 pair is the best retro and is on point with the 1996 pair. people are either too young to remember or like the banana shape low cut fake looking 11s. the 2012 was ok at best. the 2008 was pure trash and the 2001 pair was the early days of cost cutting and cheapness.
