You buy the shoes because you like them you wanna wear them, you shouldn't be influenced by anyone's opinion. Because if that's the case you always get hyped and end up buying the one you hate.
I can’t believe these were so slept on. I’m 41 so I was around when the OG dropped. I asked my kids to get these for my birthday in September but they decided get me some Camo 1 mids instead saying the 11 lows were ugly. 6 months later I catch these on StockX for $130. I’ll take nostalgia over hype any day. Thanks sneaker heads.
I had these. Summer 96. I was headed into my freshman year. These were dope to me. Even though they weren’t the most popular. I skipped all retros pairs because of the smoke bottom and elephant print.
These are the ones I have! The smoked bottom and leather elephant 🐘 are dope dude; they are built like a tank ! Remember the original Taxi 12’s?!? The are study like these !
The OG had the nubuck on it I had them when I was in middle school like 7th grade.. I started dunking that summer and my favorite cousin had the IE man so much nostalgia. I can remember a known D-boy in my neighborhood rocking when I was a kid. Crispy, starched jeans, jersey with white T-shirt underneath, and a Bulls cap to match. His girl had on the same jeans and shoes. I was in awe. These shoes give you so much nostalgia it’s crazy. Love these. 💯
I had all three pairs of the kids in 96 plus the white lows of these. I didn’t get a chance to get this color way in 96 but I’m definitely getting them now especially that they are in there original form.

This was ~3 years ago. I remember seeing it at a local Finish Line. I bought the Jordan 6 Bordeaux that one day. I could've also bought the Jordan 11 low IE Bred too. I didn't but wish I did.

Oh, taking me back to 1996, Checking my original 1996 pair, it is old school nubuck in the mesh areas and the leather is not as shiny as the 2021 model. Mind you, after 25 years, age may be a factor with materials. But, another great review and definitely hoping to pick up at least one pair.
Fact's, I still got my original pair (white & gray) in a plastic shoe bin. The glue that keeps the sole & shoe together has detached.. But I'm never getting rid of them!
@@WearTesters Update. I actually was able to purchase a pair through the official Nike website this morning. The first time I was able to purchase an Air Jordan retro AT RETAIL PRICE since the 2018 release of the Air Jordan VI 6 Black/Infrared a.k.a. "Playoffs".

The beautiful thing about shoes is that we all get to say what's "dope" to us. These are dope. I grew up knowing that these were the original AJ 11 low, minus the IE naming. Either way, I hope that I'm able to get a pair. This is the build of an 11 low to me. The patent leather lows are not my cup of tea. It's just something about them that I don't like. Dope review. Thanks for that sizing recommendation on this pair.
I had the white, tan and purple joints back in 2003, my senior year. These shoes are actually awesome and I used to get SO MANY compliments. I would love to get those again because I wore the hell out of them.

These are a FIRE performance shoe!!! It has all the great parts of the Jordan 11 with breathability and more malleable upper. Low key sleeper on court. Only seen one player rocking them aside from myself
I love’em!!!! Great shoe. However I am 44 yrs old and maybe I’m biased but it make me feel like a kid again. I hope I’m able to get these. And if so I’m putting them straight to the wood floor during open gym with my son’s high school b-ball team. I’ll swap the insole to my custom insole that I use anyway.
I wish they would bring back the old Dennis Rodman’s when he was with converse. That’s one of my childhood favorites. Those shoes had every last bit of rodmans personality embedded in them, All the way down to the tattoos he has. The shoe was even made like a basketball texture. Dope era🔥🔥

I AM SOOOOO EXCITED FOR THESE! The OG Lows! I got the OG's in store when they came out and wore every day for a long, long time. These are the retros of the year for me for sentimental reasons. I'm so excited! I hope they're cool. Honestly, even if they destroy my pinky toe, I can't wait to wear them!
Big fan of your channel!!! Had the white and grey lows IE in 96. To this day still one of my favorites but always wanted the blk ones. Just ordered a pair of Carmines but the blk lows IE are gonna be next on my list.
I walked into Koenig Sporting Goods back in 96 and saw the White and Grey lows and ended up wearing them out of the store. I love that look. I hope they do some true to the OG of that color way so I can over pay for them.

These are my favourite Jordan 11’s, I had these in 96, they were the most comfortable and you can where them with anything unlike patent leather Concords.
I share virtually the same sentiments as the presenter of this review, having myself - as a delighted 14 year-old who'd always been devastated that I never had the opportunity to own a pair of Jordan V or Jordan VI (although admittedly these kicks didn't do much to compensate my regret) - owned a pair of these when they were originally released in 1996. I far prefer these to the more revered version being the OG Concord PE (White - Black - Dark Concord) which had a Release Date of: 11/1995. Appreciate this video somethin' major folks!
the OG J11 low (back in ‘96, bred & cobalt) are my fave Js ever! I love them better than concords og mids & retro lows🥰 when it became IE, i still love ‘em. i got over 12 pairs in diff colorways since the ‘96 OGs. this is the best colorway for me.
