Was always curious how shoes went below retail before release. Makes no sense to for someone to pay retail plus tax and just sell to for less than what they paid.
Right now the only people that can make money on them Jordan 7s are nike employees and footlocker employees who use there employee discounts. Not worth buying using a 50.00 gift card from footlocker. Employees buying for 125 can profit selling them at retail or below retail.
It will take years. I wore my raptor 7s from 2002 a few months back and they're fine. Nike sb's also last a long time. Some sneakers last longer than others. I had a pair of air max 1s crumble on me and they're from 2010. Air maxes in my experience crumble faster . A lot of the Jordan's you see crumbling are from the 90s and even 80s. Wearing them makes them less susceptible. I think the weight of your body compresses the materials and get them used to being bent also. I unds'd my bred 4s from a few years back and on the first step a bunch of the paint cracked. The soles are fine though.
