What's up everybody! In today's video I will be doing a restoration on a pair of 2011 Black Cement 3's! This shoe looked fine but the midsoles had some chunks missing from it and here at Retrorations, that's not gonna slide! We got the shoes a new pair of midsoles for it and saved the elephant print! This shoe was intended to be a personal shoe but is now for sale!

Should've just sole swapped them with Red Cement 3s and used their back tabs.

In this case, the midsoles were the only thing that needed replacing. Putting “NIKE AIR” on the back would be cool though 🤔🤔

@@Retrorations everything you needed would've been all in one package, you may have only needed to use a dremmel tool to make the midsole line up with the upper but it would have been prefect. Made it OG status with that Nike back tab. 💯

I’m with you 100% but out of all the BC3s I’d rather give a full OG treatment to 2001’s or 1988’s 😅

@@Retrorations yes, definitely! The OG OG OG! The sneaker that basically saved Nike and kept Jordan on board with them as well as launching Tinker Hatfield into collaborating with Jordan. That's a true iconic sneaker. 👏 👟

I have a question my black cement from 2018 starts to crack at the elephant print at the thoes idnk if thats normal its like between the toecap and the elephant print

Are you referring to separation? Because that happens 🤷‍♂️ just need some glue and you’ll be good! 👍

hey bro i was wondering what type of masking tape you use and what brand all the tap i get never stick and literally all apart in the middle of the restoration.

I use scotch stationery masking tape or scotch contractor grade masking tape depending on the application. But i think in this video I just used the stationery tape. Sometimes when I lay down tape, the regular tape doesn’t want to stick to certain materials, that’s when I switch to the contractor grade tape. :)

@@Brrrlddd22 hey, a good tape I've found that works great is electrical tape and vinyl tape. 👌 Hope that helps as well.
