@@parvesh.5_357 Combining both the leg lengthening surgery and the insoles, you could be up to 6' as the leg lengthening surgery could add 3-7.5 inches of height depending on how much you want the femur and fibula to grow and the insoles would provide a 1-3 inch height boost. Saw a guy who did solely a height leg lengthening surgery and he went from 5'5 to 6'0
I used to wear these years ago before they started to gain a lot more traction as of recently. It did make me a little bit taller but i found it did make me a lot more tired by the end of the day since you’re always on your toes. You will also have to be easing your shoes a lot more loose than you’re used to. If you’re wearing low top shoes your foot will probably flop in and out occasionally. I started to hit the gym and fix my posture and got rid of my height insecurity, which everyone else should try as well
Idiot! Real 6 foot people are actually 6'1" - 6'1.5" on shoes u dummy, and here ur here bragging about being close to actual 6 footers if ur 5'11" on shoes then everyone knows ur 5'9-5'10" barefoot! So basically all u got is a 1-1.5" boost Don't overthink here buddy!
i had a pair of 2.5 inch insoles which i used. gave me exactly 2.5 inch boost. similairly, i now own a pair of hiking boots with a 4 inch elevation, they give me no less than 4 inches. the "half advertised boost" only applies to low quality brands. if you're buying from a brand like calto (which i recommend) the lifts will add exactly the advertised height, no less
If anyone is considering these just know that the max setting of four gives an actual height increase of about 1/1.5 inch. The height of the insured doesn’t actually increase your feet that much because they get pushed down and your feet aren’t at the bag of your shoe. The only way you get a big height increase is the shoes that have the built-in angle that will actually make you 3 inches taller.
We are just starting college and me and my 3 other friends (all above 6'2) agreed to buy these and tell people that we are 5'11 so that girls would think rest of the boys in our classes are lying about their height...
It will. I used to wear shoe lifts all the time, and Its a dangerous game. Your walk is unnatural so people could possibly tell your wearing them If you ever have to take off yoyr shoes in front of people...your secrets out and now youll get made fun of even more (cuz now people now its a BIG insecurity, like stuffing your bra with toilet paper) And you can only wear big type shoes (sneakers, boots, etc)... Trust its not worth it
@@jaykarar1698 I mean if you only wear the base layer it just looks like a normal insole, so all you have to do is tell people your replaced the insole cause this one is more confortable
Im 180cm barefoot and when i wear air forces they make me slighty over 6ft but i put an insole that makes my shoes add an extra inch and now im 6 1 in public. Its pretty cool bc i tower over so muc people in public.. before that people would be up to my eyes or middle forehead. Now i can look over people.
I've been using these for a while, problem is they suck to stand on for too long. The pattern indent situation below the heel feels like stepping on worn down Legos, and too many layers starts friction on the ball of your foot while walking. There's not much of a visible difference and it takes a bit of practice to not look like a woman in heels walking, and the size of the actual insole fit in my size 8 shoe with no cutting and it's a little thin so there's walls on the sides. I wear high top timberlands with them, using 2 or 3 layers. I have yet to try and make them more comfortable for long term use, cause heel cups don't work, and arch support just hurts more cause it's not designed for the position your foot is actually in. I think maybe some eva foam to level out the gaps in the sides and maybe a memory foam air insole to cool and add some padding may help, but I haven't tried yet. All in all I feel like I need these, since I'm normally 5"3 to 5"4 without them, so it's a worthy investment, and I really don't think any style or brand is going to be particularly comfy. Idk how women wear heels all day at some jobs, but I'm a cashier, and to be fair I haven't seen any women in heels cashiering, and I feel like this is why. Basically what I'm getting at is, ladies I applaud your foot breaking bravery lol
@@carminekeys3411 Hi can I ask randomly, I'm a female btw. I feel so much pain and feel insecure about my heels , Does wearing high heels will make my height shorter in the long run? Cause I read somewhere on an article by a doctor that it will make height shorter. I'm a model and we wear high heels at most of the time and seeing that article make me so insecure and scared at the same time
Bro just throw them away, you ain't getting more chicks being 3 inches taller , you don't get more respect being 3 inches taller , people don't even care. It's only you in your head that makes a big thing about height. Im 6ft tall muscular good looking guy, but I have low confidence, people I would look down on shorter, uglier guys, got the girls I want. You know why because they showed confidence, they weren't standing around like me trying to be taller and in better shape than other people. Just believe in yourself and be happy in yourself, take it from me.
@@NeemuitdieVerlede I didn't want to do it for "chicks" or anyone else. I wear them because it makes me feel good about myself. It's imperceptible to others but makes me feel more confident in myself I mean hell, if I want to wear some foam in my shoes just let me. It could be worse and I could be bragging about my height and body over the internet and disguising it as caring for other people. Respectfully, if you really are 6ft you don't really get why being 5"3 makes me so uncomfortable. I regularly get mistaken for a woman, and I don't have long hair, paint my nails, or wear feminine clothing. Anything I can do to stop getting called ma'am is something I find it worth to do, and this was my honest review for others with a similar struggle who are considering buying these, without the sugar coating of the fact they make me taller, or the bashing and bitching that they make my feet hurt. You really can't have it all and as an alternative of purchasing 150+ special elevator shoes in limited styles, they really aren't bad
@@courtnrysalamone7677 Bro you don't understand the point I'm trying to make, we can't build our confidence on how we look it comes from the inside, im trying to tell you that guys who are shorter and smaller than me got more respect/girls because they didn't build their confidence on height or how they look. We can make something up in our mind that bugs us way more than others. I just want to explain to people that it's oraait being who you are, and to be happy with who you are. Yes I don't know how it feels to you but you don't also know my story. When I was about 10 years old I was small for my age so my dad always used to ask me if I'm taller and stronger than my friends, I used to insert shocks in my school shoes to be taller, I did it all the way into my young adult life. I built everything on being tall and strong, and what did I gain from it, nothing bro.
Me and my husband are the same hight and I want to wear heels for a wedding and I don’t want to be taller than him!!!! so I’m definitely getting these for my husband ❤️
You'll probably destroy every ounce of confidence he has if you do that. Fastest way to break down most shorter man is to do that. Talk with him first to make aure he won't mind
So the average height for a person is 5,7 so a average shoe give you 3 cm ( 1 inch ) and I believe the biggest insole give you 9cm ( so 3 inches) giving you 5,11 - 6,1 if you wear Nike 720s
yeah, but wearing a 9cm insole is dangerous for the feet. and could ruin your posture in the long run which could make you shorter, and ruin your Achilles and pelvic plate. 5-7cm increase is healthy anything more is NOT WORTH IT. I know this because I used to wear a 9cm lift for a year and a half it made me shorter when I went barefoot due to the pelvic tilt. I have fixed my posture and regained those heights back. Never go beyond 7cm only do 9 once in a while but again 9cm lift is too obvious, people know you wear them. 7cm is well hidden and wont ruin your body.
Hey. I have a question and i would be very happy if someone can answer. So ive been wearing 1.06inch/2.7cm lifts in my Air Forces and i have heard that using lifts may cause early height loss or health issues. Are these rumours true?
I had tried it & won’t recommend it... first of all the air conditioning compresses by your weight and walking it makes wobbly near ankle. Secondly the material used is really cheap and it makes it too hot at foot in summers... Better buy an actual elevator shoe rather than re-engineering a normal shoe 😅
I have NO Cartilage in my right hip so I walk un EVEN with my right leg feeling like with every step, I'm limping. Would a shoe lift insert, help me...?
@@Rugiet never knew that I just know in the 80s they wore heels but if u want to be more subtle then these could work. I’d never actually use them in public tho, I feel like it can’t be good for your foot over a long period
hard to run in them, you can work out in them. It is hard to squat and deadlift with them on. You can do them with moderate weights but not your max lifts
@@omgh4zy thank you man! I heard that if you don’t have comfortable shoes your feet may swell up a little over or hurt a bit. Does that ever happ& is that normal??
I think it's too tall you're going to look tall with T-Rex arms I feel like the most you can get away with is probably 3 in and depending on your wingspan
I have juvenile arthritis and my foot us fused in a heeled position. About 8 years ago my podiatrist and I came up with a design so I could walk comfortably there was nothing for me so I had created something myself and she perfected it. It's basically this. I find it so wierd seeing this haha. I understand people feel insecure about height but according to my rheumatology podiatrist this will cause issues for people I have no choice but to use these so for anyone with I fused ankle I recommend. But think if the consequences outweigh your need for height please. A few issues that my podiatrist managed to counteract with a cut out on the ball of your foot. -With your foot pushing forward your balls of feet will harden and start to hurt. Your ankle is not meant to be in this position. Which is why most heel wearers end up with issues. -It changes your gait while walking.
Fun Fact: You're actually at least 1 inch taller when you first wake up in the morning due to your spine decompressing while you sleep. Then throughout the day it is compressed back down, loosing that inch you had you first woke up to. Which might be why you thought you were 5''8 and then found out you were 5''9.
At my doctor office I was measured 5’6/2 , but when I went to the therapist office and got measured with my shoes up I was 5’7/2 . I was wearing Nike air max so , Does that mean I’m officially 5’6?
@@podnaldjrgi729j4 I got the midrise ones. You can fit in maybe two but more than that and it can get unwieldy. However I don't use them with AF1s, I use them with highrise boots only for more stability.
@@adityashandilya2789 it’s not worth it to take your original sole out cause now you ruined the shoe…if you’re wearing low tops this is not a good product these are really for like Cowboy boots and work boots tbh
