And I started playing Sweden just cuz I love their music. Man, now I understand I'm not that bad at all, but I keep playing just Sweden first, the hard way, yes, but I'm loving it and I won't quit that easy. 1 year playing and I'm into my first jet (I was way more like a casual btw).
I just have one thing to say. Across the series you consistently emphasized torpedo bombers(fighters) as the best ones for naval CAS. As a naval main, I can say that is not quite true at all. It's a common mistake for people with little actual naval experience, but 1000lb+ bombs are much easier to use and much more effective against ships. Torpedoes require you to fly straight and level and slow(except when using US and JP torps) over open ocean before dropping which makes you very vulnerable. And then there's a a fair chance that the torpedo will miss or be avoided and do nothing, and even if you hit, most aerial torps have too small warheads to effectively damage larger ships. Bombs are much less restrictive and easier to aim and harder to avoid, and can still do some splash damage if they miss slightly. So some nations that you judged as poor in naval striking, such as Germany and UK and USSR, are actually fairly decent. Italy's the one that suffers most in this category.
Bro, I started on WT and my friend told me that Sweden was the best nation to play. I abandoned the game 4 weeks later because that was boring and had no fun. Now, 2 years later, watching this to restart in War Thunder, I understand why
🇫🇷Guys play france, it was the first air tree I player ever and ended it loving it from start to finish, and the mirage 2000 was legitimately worth the grind! Keep in mind I grinded it all with no premium planes at all🇫🇷
@@RedHeavy- it's 10% pain, 15% concentraded power of pain, 5% pain, 50% pain and a 100% reason to remember the pain. Gaijin is removing flanking from their maps it seem so you can had even more pain. Practicaly everything at the same BRs can 1 kill you but you can't pen back. As for top tier we have the equivalent of the US sherman pain, 20 flavours of leclercs

Mb but France only has a part of its tech tree which is just foreign design, otherwise it is a real unique experience ( any other nation have something close to the mirages lol)

I’m grinding the US tree and I need to research 3 lines to continue progressing and right now I’m grinding the light and heavy fighters. Should I unlock the strikers line or the naval line? Bombers are discarded since I don’t like them
They're both solid, if you're more into air or combined arms combat the naval line is pretty good, if you want dedicated CAS planes the strike aircraft line is a better choice
