The West and East Korea map was of two different communist Koreas, one puppet to China and one to the USSR, though strangely West Korea gets both historic capitals and most of the population so the Soviets got screwed.

due to the korean peninsula's geographic distribution: the eastern side is mostly mountainous and the western side having plains, the conflict between east korea & west korea would be pretty one-sided (west korea probably having most of the population in the peninsula) probably one reason why korea was splitted north & south, and not east & west edit: this was before i continue the video and watched drew immediately commented on its population distribution & geopolitic implications

King George the III was the first Windsor king to focus on Britain over Hanover... which they later abandoned/lost to the German empire(ish). For a long while, the English monarch also held the title of the "Elector-King of Hanover".

If your wondering how the thumbnail map could’ve happened, America had a third nuke ready for Tokyo in case Japan didn’t surrender. All that would be needed is for America after getting a peace deal with Japan for Truman to drop the third Nuke on Moscow and negotiate with UK, France, and Japan to carve up the USSR.
