The costume design in this show is severely underrated. They could've made every nation dress essentially the same but with different colours. But each nation is unique down to their military regalia... And I like that you can distinguish between upper class nobles and the lower class. The attention to detail was so unnecessary for a Nickelodeon show, I mean we would have ate up anything.
It was great seeing how modernization affected the air nomads as not requiring staffs to fly. If would be great to see how much farther that can be taken in all forms of bending and techniques
I guess for earth you could stitch metal fibres into the clothes themselves, acting as a type or armour and a source for bending if you’re short on earth to bend. If you put metal in your shoes you could even get a jump boost or hover temporarily by bending the metal beneath you upwards. For water you could perhaps have clothes that store water in them to stop the need for a pouch (however you’d look a bit stupid), and for fire all you need is fire retardant clothing to avoid you setting yourself on fire.
Underrated opinion: *Water tribe outfits are the best* Let's be honest, people always talking about fire nation outfit (mostly because of Fire nation Katara etc) But the *water tribe outfits* are the best one for people who are spending day and night outside and sometimes in the wilderness ! The boots and hoodies are also more comfortable and protect you from the cold in the night. Also the *wolf* masks are soo amazing !!
Are people seriously mentally broken and emotionally unstable that they have to comment "first" just to get some kind of gratification? Or are you guys just high schoolers?
I really loved the outfit of the air nomad. Tenzin and elder Aang clothes look so good I know the new Airbender Wingsuit it make them don't need to use the Airbender Staf But I really love the way Aang used the staff to help him Airbend. And it make it look so good Because I love many old kungfu movie where the monks used Staff to their advantage And seeing Aang used it to help him Airbend it's so satisfying And the staff is also a defensive weapon that is not dangerous and only for disarm the opponent and sometimes does enough damage to stop the attack without killing. it fits perfectly with AirNomad's culture of not wanting to use violence to solve its problems. (Sorry for my english .still learning)
Depending on how the air nation develops in the future, they would probably end up incorporating the staff again in some way alongside the wingsuits Because you are right, the staff gave extra capabilities beyond gliding however the wingsuits are just a very good addition to make gliding more flexible. I'd imagine more of a fan like staff where they can redirect more powerful air blows in the future, or make it a backup gliding capability in case the wing suits break.
Air is the first best element because there is no limit to air then it's earth cause we are on the earth unless we are in the sea then it's water because u can get water out of plants or thin air which only a master water bender can do(Hama) and then fire cause u will need a source of fire. My favourite elements are water and air
How come Aang never got the mastery outfit before he was frozen? Did he just want to stay in the beginner outfit even though he earned his tattoos? Or did he not get to update- change his outfit since he never completed his training
The thing about air nomads shaving there heads to feel the air current better would actually decrease their ability to sense air currents part of hair's function is as a sensory organ for feeling air currents
I am extremely fierce the way they lost their individuality by erasimg the orange and yellow color and replacing it with dark red same as fire nation. Not cool.
