Is the annual fee worth the card?
Calculate how much you spend per year on a credit card and divide it by the earn rate. For example, $30,000 a year spent on a Kiwibank Airpoints Platinum credit card earns 434 Airpoints Dollars, but with the Amex Airpoints Platinum card it earns 847 Airpoints Dollars. Both are higher than the annual fee, but it's important to make sure you're getting value for money.
