Hi Mate, Sold the little BSA now but i always have my spring guns loaded. generally fire off into the ground every 30 mins to keep the spring fresh. I did find with the BSA that if you fire a dozen pellets thru it before you start to warm it up it wont lose power when left cocked.

Some very nice land to shoot on there, I have to say the dog walker problems are much the same for me on a couple of my shoots, there are foot paths but they never keep to them. add to that the dogs running loose in fields with cattle in( they should know better).
