well mr angof i must say your recipe rocks. As a student with sod all budget it certainly helped me. I fished out a bunny from the freezer an got to it. Fantastic video very easy to follow, Wish i had a permission for air rifle work, guess ill have to stick with the ferrets for now. Top job Mr!

Nothing like a free range rabbit on your plate. Kudos. I've relocated to Australia and as soon as I can legally hunt I'm doing the same.

@PLINKINATOR Cheers PLINK glad you liked it, went out this afternoon for the first time in four weeks. Doctor told me to take it easy for another two weeks ( had a major op four weeks ago) but i had to get out as cabin fever was setting in. Managed two Woodies and a Squizzer so was well chuffed.

Awesome video. We had a strangely similar day. I made rabbit stew, but used chanterelle mushrooms I picked on Angel Island (in the bay off San Francisco). While picking mushrooms, I stared at a red tail hawk. I caught a rabbit using a simple snare trap instead of a rifle. And, I used lentils instead of beans. I listened to the Doors and drank Kronenbourg Blanc Beer. Now, I wish I made a video. It would of been fun to have tried your stew. thanks for the video. -cKw

Hi Shayne, Thanks for the kind comments. Im not sure if you can soak frozen meat. Myself i would thaw the bunny out for a couple of hours then soak it in the brine. Hope you have a go at this stew and let me know how it goes.

good vid. got a rabbit the other night and brined it. cooking it in a similar way cause i watched your vid. its currently simmering on the stove and tastes awesome. it never occured to me to add baked beans to a stew, but i can assure you ill be doing it from now on. thanks from the USA.

This is a fantastic video! I have 2 rabbits in my freezer and this recipe is going to be for the first bunny in think. Just one question, can it put the rabbit into soak straight from frozen? Once again very good video, by far the best recipe I've seen so far.

@harrymcg321 Soaking the rabbit in salt water removes all the blood. makes for a tastier bunny
