hello, just found your channel, just popped up in my right hand option box, yep, know what you mean about swopping hands at my age. my son brought me a hw99s for my 76 birthday first air rifle iv ever had. love it to bits, she,s perfect for my 30yd garden.
Hi fella, I had a Remington Tyrant.22 way back and even though they got rubbished in reviews it hit where I aimed it. Can’t remember what lead I was sending but for £125 I wasn’t complaining. Can’t wait to see the vid of “Crap” rifles.., if you do it 😎
In canada airguns under 500fps/4.2ft-lb are not firearms and are not subject to gun storage laws BUT once a crime is commited or anything like it they will be considered as if! I do hang my airguns on the wall but I know for a fact this is the last spot anybody will acess in the house / there is no kids arround In the other hand...if you have the same rifle but over 500fps you still can hang it on a wall...IF the room is locked OR the rifle itself has a lock + there is no ammo anywhere near it
Ha the damn thing got robbed for parts! It's organs went to keep three other guns alive - what was left lays on the stoop to remind me not to be dick in the gun shop...
Love the guitar rack idea, I'm also child free so a rack in the house isn't an issue. I've only recently started shooting air rifle, got an HW95K, I'm liking it a lot, and can easily see myself with a small collection, given time. Crap rifle night sounds like a right laugh :)
The Remington compact is a nice rifle great for hide shooting we found the accuracy to be very good plus you can get tuning kits either from Welsh Willy ot TBT I had the SMK X19 once tuned up excellent plus I replaced the trigger from Welsh Willy , great video Cheers 🥂
I did see the American 🇺🇸 flying in one of your videos and just assumed you lived here in America. Crazy police laws in the EU on BB and pellet laws and limits on power. I keep my guns locked up in a good safe for security and peace of mind.
Hiya. Just started watching your stuff. Love it. Yes I agree your guns look good on display. About 4 years ago I had 5 guns out and started to think about the value. 5 guns. 1 Night vision. 4 scopes and I got to 6 grand and thought now I need a gun cabinet. Just a thought.
Airgunhunter 1966 - yep fair point. For me though, I only have one good rifle - the others were bought used, and cheap more for wall hanging than shooting. Although I do shoot them from time to time... My night vision is an add-on so that's stored separately.
@@PlanetDrewdog my biggest problem is I can’t find a scope bed enough. Obviously I want one that will do the gun justice but all my scopes are top end. You can’t put a high end scope on a B2 that would be criminal. The other thing is the excuse. Your mates excuse was brilliant. It’s not his he only borrowed it 25 years ago. No one ever admits buying one. My excuse is my dad’s life long best friend left it to me in his will because I used to shoot when we call at his house when I was a teenager. So it’s one of my favourite guns. See a good excuse. You must have one it’s part of owning a B2. Has always good entertaining video cheers.
JVBL1 - I'm still deciding which compressor to buy... I only recently got my first PCP (pistol). It seems hard to find consistent good reviews on any compressor - I'm totally confused to be honest...
@@PlanetDrewdog I've done research and I hear Yong Heng and Tuxing compressors are the way to go. I hear many name brands are just rebranded cheap Chinese compressors but at name brand price tag, such as rebranded Tuxing compressors.
@@PlanetDrewdog In case helpful, I've been using a Snowpeak (Chinese) for about 2 years now with zero issues. I haven't even done any maintenance on it yet. After I got it (it was an impulse buy to to a discount) I read through some online reviews which, if had been guided by them, would have led me to not buying it and unnecessarily spending a lot more cash on an "established brand " model. I am more than satisfied with my purchase and use it a couple of times a month. My stirrup pump is now in a cupboard somewhere.
@@PlanetDrewdog Honestly, I too have a hard time parting with my money, but I believe in "buy once, cry once" ...& then forever enjoy it! I bought a FX Wildcat .25 from Utah Airguns earlier this year and it's a very good example of that! ...I would never tell anyone what I paid for it ($1,500 bucks!) but every time I pull the trigger it's silent, powerful, and the pellet lands perfectly on the crosshairs every time! Very hard to complain about the price when I'm using something that awesome! ✌️🎯
Good video mate, thanks, your tx200 video just came up on my feed so after watching that I looked up your page and found this one. I have your guns stablemate the hw97 agree totally with what you say about these guns making you a better shot all round, you have to get every aspect of the shot right or they'll let you know. Having such a gun really makes you up your game to bring your ability up to the guns. I was happy to hear you mention the remington compact as that's my 2nd gun, which was my 1st before my 97 came along. They really are a nice little gun. The trigger is almost identical to the rekord unit, in fact I changed mine to a 97 trigger (had to drill the trigger pin hole in it out a little though). Out of the box the trigger is good but there's room for improvement with polishing the sears, it's predictable and quite crisp. I'd shot a meteor back in my teens in the 70's but the remington was the gun I taught myself to shoot with and found it a good teacher. I did find the length of pull a little short and the comb a little low for use with a scope (I'm a little guy, under 5' 6" ), so I extended the butt by 2" and raised the comb making it fit just nice. I'd say to and shoulder one, see how it feels, but it's a great choice for what you want it for. I wish I could attach a photo so you could see the improved stock. All the best with you channel, I've subscribed and will recommend you to others. I look forward to more videos in the future, I think we're cut from the same cloth I think. All the best mate, keep calm and keep shooting.
get a dians stormrider ,a little pcp ,handy thing ,not expensive . i saw you got a pp 700 sa pcp pistol so its not a problem i think with the filling , there are wall mounted hangers with a lock . so if its needed .
I have no idea why people can't hit anything with a Chinese rifle, because I've used Chinese rifles for years and have hardly ever had something I was hunting get away. My favorite Chinese rifle was a Beeman silver Kodiak. I hunted with that thing daily with very good results.
+1 on the hw30S . remember the S. Diana 240 fun too. I want the hw57 . about same age and yes the Weight of the top springers is a challenge ...however not going back to pcp. thanks for your "shows" . Good fun ...euro style !
please film yr crap rifle shoot!! i love it,.. i have maybe 60 air rifles ,.. 75 % top stuff 25% crap but i love em all and love to shoot the crap ones just as much if not more as there more of a challenge Daniel
60 rifles? Wow! I have a long way to go - I have 7 at the moment! Yeah I enjoy them all - as you say, it's all about the challenge. Thanks Daniel, Drew
@@PlanetDrewdog i know i prob have more than that truth be told and sometimes i feel ashamed but as my misses says ,…i do love them all and i don’t drink or smoke and it’s my honest true love in life as since age five it got me through horrible times growing up , and yes i remember everything from age 5 onwards unfortunately,…..so airguns are very very close to my heart and are my life saver which get me thorough tough times hense having so many … there more of a passion than an illness obsession which my wife reminds me allot ( and high she’s 100% by the way ☺️) they are freedom to me personally and i still have my first from age 5 and have actually won many many trophies and medals in vintage comps before having my 3 children but that a totall other story 😉 Daniel
That's quite the handsome wall. For a nicely made springer with an accurate hammer forged barrel, crisp adjustable two stage trigger, quality parts and an excellent value you might really enjoy checking out the Cometa Fenix 400 (compact, ultra short compact, or standard). Check out Big Dan's Airguns...he did some thorough reviews on them. Also the Cometa Fusion is the same as the Fenix except with a different barrel. I have the Fenix 400 and I also have a Fusion barrel so I can easily and quickly swap the barrels (and also the caliber). Its almost like having two air rifles in one.
