Air Scrubber Vs Air Purifier - Air scrubber is a relatively new term that describes an industrial air purification system that removes gases or particles from the air. It is commonly used to clean industrial exhaust streams and gas emissions (gas scrubber). An example would be the removal of sulfur from a power plant exhaust system.

I think this video has good intentions but the images shown don't always match up with what the narrator is saying. For example at :46 the narrator is talking about an air scrubber but the video shows an air purifier. At 1:10 he's talking about an air purifier, but the video shows an air scrubber. At 1:30 he's talking about commercial air purifiers but the video shows an air scrubber, and then a couple seconds later while he's still talking about commercial air purifiers the video shows a residential air purifier. At 1:57 he's still talking about commercial air purifiers, but the video shows an air scrubber. I'd look for a different video if you're trying to understand all this.

Definitely a scrubber. Phoenix is is the industry standard, but knock offs are about 1/4 of the price. And dont buy a used one because you dont know whats been through it.

an air scrubber will filter the air...but will not keep mold away.. mold and wet surfaces go together..so first eliminate the moisture, or water problem first (vacuum all water, dry with fans, then wipe all mold areas with sodium hypochlorite (bleach), if the mold has penetrated the sheetrock or other surface you will need to remove it,,until you have a clean surface..just dont use a sander or it will get airborne...

first thing to do is to stop the water problem...mold grows on wet surfaces.. so if you have a water leak fix it first...then sodium hypochlorite(bleach) to wipe down all surfaces...remove as much of the mold without getting it airborne...so do not sand the surface..then dry.the surface.perferably with warm air.. next get a dehumidifier to keep the excess moisture from returning...finally repaint with a mold inhibiter paint type product..I could go on...plenty of tutorial videos to demostrate...
