I had the great pleasure of meeting Russell during my teens. I called the hotel he was staying, back in Brazil, and when he answered I was stone cold and just said: "I love you very, very, very, very, very much". He laughed and said: " Thank you my dear".He is the sweetest guy. We talked for about 10 minutes or more. He asked me if I could come to meet him at the hotel lobby. I was flattered and so happy. When I got there, he gave me a hug and an autograph. Graham was busy, running around. But Russell had the time to meet a silly teenager. It made me love him even more. Good memories.

My wife and I fell in love to this song on September 14th, 1984. July 12th, 2023, we celebrate 37 years of marriage. Air Supply was and is the soundtrack to our love story. We were so fortunate to have been able to receive Graham and Russell's wonderful gifts. Thank you for sharing your talents with the world.

Omg what can you say Air Supply still has it, Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock can still hit those high notes. This song is one of my absolute favorites, it's timeless it's magical it's eternal. This song holds special meaning for me and my gf who is now my wife, we danced to this song in Santa Cruz California on the beach near the water the night I asked her to marry me. I lost my husband this past year ... March, actually. Every time I hear this song I can't stop crying. I'm 50 years old, and I don't think I'll ever have this again. I was married almost 30 years, we were together almost 32 years. Even though this song makes me cry, please don't ever stop recording and singing. Someone, somewhere might find the joy that I've lost.

This is bringing back memories of my Dad and I singing along to this when I was young, my poor Mum had to listen to both of us. After Mum passed away Boxing Day 2020 to cancer we were heartbroken but one day I put air supply on which made us both smile. Here I am listening alone, tears running down my cheek as Dad passed away unexpectedly 13 months and one day after we lost Mum (27th January this year). I can't even imagine how many happy memories Air Supply have given people but I know how cherished those memories are. Twelve years ago when I was 32 my life long specialists gave me two years at the most to live which was realistic considering my extensive health history so we all thought I'd go first. When Mum got stage four cancer she wanted Dad and I to look after her at home and then being there for Dad (I moved back home because of my health and we have always been a great team looking after each other) 24/7, cooking, cleaning, socializing, going to medical appointments and I'm wondering where to next. Still being quite against the odds could mean that it's my time to do what I've put off due to complete dedication to my parents which I wouldn't do any different or is it my turn to go home to God which is what I really want. I'm just so tired and run down and to be honest scared. Sorry I didn't mean to get emotional but I'll still post this because it may mean something to someone else. If you got to the end of my ramble I thank you and I hope that you and your loved ones are going well. My parents had a rule that we would never go to bed mad or angry with each other. Dad would come down to my room to tell me he is going to bed, I gave him a hug we said I love you. The next day we were going to sign the contract for the new house we were going to build the next day and we both mentioned how exciting it was. If we didn't have that rule and we were grumpy with each other finding him dead in the morning would of come with guilt over that. Anyway don't be shy in telling your loved ones just how amazing they are and that you appreciate them. Xx
