HOT ICE - COOL SOUNDS 2008 "Hard To Say I'm Sorry" written by Peter Cetera and David Foster 1984 "Get Away" written by Robert Lamm Figure Skaters Brian Boitano and Sasha Cohen Chevrolet Center, Youngstown, Ohio
To the person that reads this, I ask the Lord to bless them and their family, to cure them of every sickness and pain, to fill their emptiness with love joy and peace, to rebuke the enemy from their lives. " ASK JESUS TO COME INTO YOUR HEART AND SAVE YOU, AND TO FORGIVE YOU OF YOUR SINS, FOR WE GIVE THANKS AND GLORY TO THE LORD. IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST AMEN!
Peter has the gift of music, good voice, good looking hard to imagine he once wore his hair in a mullet,in the 70 s,I saw him singing if you leave me now, long hair,in back, had to be,in his early 30 s,in 1976.
My husband loved this song &as his cancer progress, he listened to it every day. He always had tears in his eyes, l can't listen to it without seeing him like that I wish l could go back to when he was alive
Love Peter Cetera & his music. I do Still remember him in connection w Chicago~I was in my 30's. Voice remains Clear & emotional. Thank you Peter Cetera!💕🌹
I really lament for the today's generation. Today's music lacks a lot of the meaning and creativity we used to enjoy in the 60 to the early 90s. All we have now is "Baby baby baby ohhhh" sung by a brat who likes to piss in buckets.
Michael Douglad No, Steve had a higher voice. His tone was not better. "If you leave me now" is an even greater song than this one. In my opinion, a much better ballad than anything by Journey, and I like Journey.
2020 who's here listening 2 Peter Cetera Chicago it still sounds great after all these years the 80s had some of the best love songs and ballads not like this crap up today
Right here listening and singing as well I've known me song since I was a very young boy born in 69 listen to songs in the 50s 60s 70s and 80s and pretty much everything after sucks not everything but 99.999% good memories.
The first time I heard this song was in 2007, the English teacher opened it to listen, filled in the blanks... She cried while listening to the students, then she confides in every time she hears the lesson. Now she remembers her husband who died young, because of a stroke... Then the whole class went silent, a sad afternoon... Now she has a new husband and lives happily, every day on the anniversary of her husband's death. old, the whole family visit together...
Magistral. Peter Cetera al igual que Peter Ribera han envejecido pero su voces suenan igual que cuando tenían 20. Los amo a los dos, que voces tan maravillosas.
Am really delighted at your response and will love to know you more better your words are full of smiles and you look so charming you must be a good mother to your kids I will love to hear from you thanks 🙏
Hoje estou com 59 anos, lembro de ouvir essa música pela primeira vez final da década de 70, aqueles baixinhos de adolescentes, quanta saudade, agora é só nostalgia

I have watched this video so many times. His voice is awesome, the band is great, his daughter Claire is performing with him, Sasha is so cute (especially when she motions with her shoulder and smiles when Peter asks, "Are you ready?") and an incredible skater with a great partner Brian Boitano. Wow!
As l get older, when l hear the wonderful songs and singers of the 70s, even from artists whose records l never bought at the time, I am so delighted and so moved, thinking of my late partner and good times with friends, for which these songs essentially provided the background music of my youth. Nothing out there like this any more.
In 1989, I lived in dorm when I was in high school in Watsonville, California. At that time, one of my friends bought a Cd which was this song, when I listened for the first time, I can't forget that feeling. This song gave huge shock to me. Thanks a lot. I am 49 yrs. old now. Time flies.
He is on his sixties here! Who else sounds as good as they did when they were 30 in their sixties on up? Glad to see he didn't burn out like so many others. Looks good too
William Patrick i believe he is as good as he is because when he was with chicago they never yelled to song like def leppard, ozzy, bo jovi. they all lost their voices really to the strain of over 30 plus years of yelling when they sing. peter just sings a normal voice. its amazing really.
William Patrick Though rhetorical, not many have kept their vocals in good shape. A few that I can think of still have it. BJ Thomas (76) sounds like he is 40. John Elefante (59) from Kansas sounds better now than when was with Kansas...imo. Crystal Gale (65) still sounds young and beautiful. John Schlitt (67) from HeadEast can still shred vocally...surprisingly since he spent his career shredding it. Tom Jones (76) is still kicking it, and Arron Neville (76) is still so incredible and looks very youthful, and let's not forget about Billy Ocean (67). He still has it.
Don't forget Jon Anderson of Yes, who sang higher than all the great singers you mentioned, and astonishingly, even after nearly DYING of respiratory failure in 2008, has his pipes and mountain-high vocal range restored at nearly 74. Watch their Rock'n'Roll HOF induction from last year, and be prepared to be floored
I am here, in quarantine, studying, reading, watching, but mainly praying for the victims of this accursed virus, and their relatives, and that they find out as soon as possible to cure this evil. God bless us
I have been a fan of Peter's since he was with Chicago. The music and songs he writes is in all of us and he brings the feelings we just can't quite express. God bless him...he has given us wonderful music to live by and remember all the good times and maybe some bad, but it is in our brains and will never leave us.
Mil bendiciones 🙏 recibe Peter Cetera por ése talento que Jehová te ha dado,tu voz privilegiada e incorruptible a través de los tiempos en nombre de Jesús Amén.
How sad...what happened to the great music of the latter part of our last century? Today's youth do not realize how deprived they are...the greatness they have missed, which, sadly, will probably never reappear. What they listen to today does not come close to the real music I loved and lived every day....truly, a bygone era.
In 30 years, you'll be able to see the people who are still wailing and can perform and always could. Time will separate them (there are certainly writers and performers now still who can perform live, and who are young).
Such music, like Classical music, has it's own immortality. Time will pass but the sounds of that bygone era will never fade completely. They merely wait to be rediscovered by another generation in which time they will most definitely live again.....forever!
