I went to Bora Bora for my 10 year anniversary and I’m going back again in a couple of months for my 15th year anniversary. It was the nicest flight that I’ve ever taken for long-distance travel. I rode economy on the way there, but after coming back, I was no way going to not try the first class seats. Let me tell you they were the most amazing seats I’ve also had the pleasure of sitting in. The flight crew were also some of the most amazing and beautiful people you could have ever met. Yes it’s expensive and unfortunately, I won’t be riding first class again this time, but just for the people and they’re amazing Spirit and the atmosphere that the Polynesian islands give , this was my first choice for my anniversary
French Polynesia always has the essence of the exotic and this translates into the styling of the aircraft, inside and out. Yes, as you say, the seating lets down the business product but an airline is more than it's business class so I wouldn't judge them solely on that alone nor their graphic designs. As for your video....balanced, comprehensive and enjoyable viewing.
Well the secret is out! This is one of my favourite routes. I’ve taken it 2X’s now in business. Not only is the 787 a phenomenal plane, but the Air Tahiti Nui flight attendants are warm and the service is above any US international carrier in business. It’s not a “flagship” business seat meaning it’s a smaller seat and there are 2 seats on the window. It’s the business seat that AA uses for their domestic trans-continental flight, but it’s a good seat and the service in my opinion makes up for it. The BEST part of the flight are the high end Tahitian rums (which might be served upon request only) but now you know. So enjoy one of my favourite airlines. You’ll love it so much, you’ll want to continue on to Tahiti once you land at LAX. Safe travels ✈️
As always a delightful comprehensive report from DesignAir . There are many factors within this report to make me consider AirTahiti Nui as my carrier for my next flight to LA . Well done DesignAir !
I flew the same flight in mid April. I had a great experience onboard. Sat in a window seat with the seat next was unoccupied. However at CDG the lounge was closed because of some restructuring due to the Olympic games. I will fly it again if I have the opportunity but better business class seats would be a game changer for them.
Iorana now please do not take this the wrong way but the Tiare flower is pronounced Ti as in Tea a as in a re as in red Tiare Air Tahiti Nui is a great airline but definately not the top airline in the Pacific Air New Zealand and Fiji Airways have far more rewards and talked about inflight service especially Fiji Airways Air Tahiti nui is a Polynesian Airline with a french twist being the islands of Tahiti's national carrier Do not get me wrong Air Tahiti nui is a great airline but has a reprutation for long delays and hit and miss menus I loved your vlog it is a shame you did not continue onto Papeete and beyond Another time prehaps Mauruuru Na'na' P.S.Your wink melts hearts🔥
It's an interesting comment, as 10 years ago, this would have been normal and many airlines still have side by side seating, but it's becoming less common now.
