Today we take the Bonanza up for an air-to-air photo mission over southeast Michigan with another V-tail Bonanza! Big thank you to Adam for these incredible shots, to Thea & Dalton for joining in the second Bonanza, and to my good friend James for flying the photoship.

Stevie, thank you, thank you, I love your videos. I'm a retired Radar Engineer from Hughes Aircraft Radar Systems in LA. worked on the F-14, and Later the F-18. Love the Beachcraft Bonanza. My dad was a 10, 000 hour USAF pilot. When we'd go cross country it was either in our RV or a Bonanaza. He loved the V tail.

Love this! After seeing the photos from this shoot, I contacted Adam, and he so kindly came out to AZO to shoot us in a DA40 over the Lake Michigan lakeshore! Will be making a similar video to this of that experience. Super awesome guy!

Nice flying. I have a V35A in Mason (not far from you). I noticed something you might want to get looked at. At 10:02 when you break right you can see that your left main inboard gear door is hanging down about an inch. This can be a gear out of rig or a gear motor getting weak. Keep up the great videos! :)

@@melis9093 your fear will make it hard. Through understanding and doing you may be able to conquer your fear and be successful. Only you can make that determination and you will need the desire to conquer your fear to over come it. The stronger will win!

I've been flying since the age of 13. In my latter teens I flew a V-tail Bonanza. Now, some decades later I have purchased a beautiful V-tail; a C35 Bonanza. V-tails are as sexy as they come and command attention on the ramp and in the air! Great shoot y'all did and if you ever want to make it a formation of three V-tails, look me up!

Ever since I was a kid, I have tried to attend air shows and get up close and personal to the aircraft and pilots who fly them. Nothing stirs my emotions quite like seeing a formation of planes or jets conquering the skies. While I will never be able to pilot one myself, I love to see others using their talents and gifts to bring joy to people like me. Thank you for letting those of us without wings tag along! 🥰

Your videos are great Stevie. Very nice formation flying. I just love Bonanzas, got hundreds of hours in many models, I’m surprised your 35 still has the the electric prop, I flew one once that had one, kinda fun working it. I also noticed your still has the old swamp cooler in the back, so cool. I fly an EXCEL out of Minter field near Bakersfield, stop by and say hi sometime, you have several fans here, we all talk about your videos and how much fun they are to watch. Gods speed young lady!

Stevie makes flying super fun and easy. Never thought of getting my private pilot license until I stumbled on her channel. A quick Google search revealed that for less than a $1,000 l can take private pilot ground school course and instrument ground school course. I know this is just the beginning but it's one step at a time. Well, guess who will have their license in the next 2yrs. 😆 🤣 😂. I'm excited. Thanks Stevie, keep flying high.

Your checklist is amazing, my buddy owned one of these v-tails flew me to a steak restaurant that had its own landing port for my birthday. Came back and still was able to watch football on TV.. so young lady. Kudos and hats off to you and fly safe.

Excellent fun posting. Your big smile and enthusiasm for the Bonanza is nice to see. I own and fly a P35 Bonanza now for 14 years and still love every minute I fly. Hope you hook up with local B2OSH pilots so you can fly to OSH in 2022. I am in CA Bay Area. We have a large active formation flying group. Two fantastic lady pilots, one in a F33 and the other flys a Baron. Plan a CA trip in the spring and meet some of these people if you can.

What a great post! I use to fly a ‘53 Bonanza N2922B, sold it to an airline Captain from Virginia. Purchased my current Beechcraft, a ‘66 Debonair N5722V. Love Beechcraft.

My formations were FUN and SAFE, well coordinated like yours. Lead was Larry in his C150 aerobat with me in my more powerful C172 as wing. On one particular formation takeoff, my 172 at 4:00 caught the vortex off the 150 enough to lift my left wing - goes to show that ALL aircraft cause wake turbulence - an awesome experience!

Flew out of Lorain Country Regional in Ohio in the 80's, started from a grass field called Avon Bosworth in the late 70's now closed & flew the Circuit in MI, Ohio, PA & NY... Stevie, you are such a good pilot. That was fun to watch you all. Every time I see your V-tail it makes me miss the one my dad had. Growing up in Lansing and flying all over Michigan as a kid and over to the fly-in at Oshkosh was so much fun. I hope you enjoy your time in Camarillo, Ca. Beautiful area and weather as well. This is a fantastic video I love hearing the pilot coordination. As an Air traffic controller myself Personal favorites are listening to ATC when you guys are doing your preflights and getting ready for departure. I’ve been on a lot of military flights and listened in on comms and you guys sound great!

Okay, I watched your two travel videos and just watched this one. It just amazes me how smooth and elegant you are as a pilot.
