I tried 22 and 177 buy the 25, 30 and above do best in a windy environment which I do have at the ranch 50 miles NW of Fort Worth. Thank you Angie. Very pellet informative.

@@bigearl8687 I replaced the oem made in China mags with the aftermarkets made in Europe Carm Magazines in my Avenger wood stock in .22 cal and my airgun became a complete tack driver with this aftermarket magazines with a DonnyFL adapter and DonnyFL FX moderator combo. But I also use my avenger with the aftermarket oring delete that helps making better groups and also increase the efficiency of the airgun as well. A very accurate airgun like the avenger also deserves a good set of aftermarket rails and a good scope. I use a Arken SH-4 Gen II 4x16x50 with the Arken medium height 34mm rings in mine along with the aftermarket Saber Tactical picatinny rails. Also its useless how many aftermarket goodie’s you installed in your airgun to increase his accuracy if you don’t use the pellets this airguns barrel like the most. After a lot of testing I find out the pellets this avenger like the most are the crosman premier 14.13, the FX or JSB 15.89, the JSB Hades 15.89, the air arms diabolo fields in 16 grains and the JSB exact jumbo heavy’s 18 grains pellets 😉
I live in south texas an its always windy 70 percent of the time , I run the 25cal jsb 33.95 mk2 out of my Brocock xr sniper magnum the best for a windy day for 70 yards to a 150 yards anything inside 70 i use jsb 25 gr Hades, great video and information ANGIE love the wild hair at the start of video 🎯
I finally got my Avenger dialed in. It's very accurate. I have a can of the mk2 that i have not tried. I need to try them and see how my Avenger shoots them. Great video!
Found my Avenger. 25 shoots JSB Hades and JSB Kings the best but for wind,can tune up the reg and hammer spring and tune for slugs,shoots the FX Hybrids and Neilson specialty ammo accurate enough out to 75 yards no problem shooting the slugs between 920 to 940,for diablo style pellets tune down to around 860fps. Ted Holdover RU-vid channel basically says in .25 caliber the JSB King is hands down the most accurate,reliable pellet,period.
Where I live, if you like to shoot you had better start learning how to shoot in the wind. I can say for sure the Avenger 25 cal can get the job done. I use pellets and can hit a pop bottle at 136 yards, with wind. I'm going for an energy drink can next, lol. Mine likes the AIr Arms 25.4 gr, but I haven't tried it with many others, actually, none at that range because these were hitting at 133, so scootched back 3 more yards and hit it a couple more times, lol.
@@airgunangie17 I'm riding the mower up and down the hill the next time, lol. I fell down two steps upstairs the other night and still licking my wounds, lol. It was dark my fault, thought I knew what I was doing, didn't flip the switch, who needs lights right? Since I rarely go up there I apparently forget that one end of the hallway has one step down, the other has two, yeah, totally missed the second step, lol. The weather is looking better lately, always windy but that's part of the fun, I like holding 5 MOA for wind at 100 yards, I think it's cool, lol.
Those 33s are my competition pellets for a damn good reason. However, the 25 grain redesigned 22 caliber pellets have kicked a few 25 and 30 caliber butts for me. They are something else at 50 yards and I shoot them as my competition 22 caliber pellet @ 100 yards. I challenge you to do a head to head test between same rifles but 1 in 22 and the other in 25 and see just how good those 22 redesigned really are.
Hi at what fps you find the best groups with this heavier JSB redesign 25 grains pellets? I currently own three Avengers one first gen wood stock in .22 cal and two Avenge-X classics one .22 and another .25 cal, thanks
@@raymondmorales8252 950-960 is where I am now on a Maverick. I also use 905-920. It all depends on conditions. The Maverick had a hammer spring dial. When I shoot the Avenger I am typically 840-880 if I can get that much out of it.
Thanks, I just ordered a box of those. They should put you on the payroll. 😉 Most of my shooting happens within about 80 yards and my gun gets along real well with the Hades rounds. Still like to compare and have a heavier round in the mix of options.
@@airgunangie17 I'll post something on it for sure. the first half of today was rainy and cold, then it cleared up but I had other priorities. I want to put some targets out and get some groups in with different pellets at longer ranges. I have to clear the briars and weeds out for a clear shot. I also need to make a backstop or two or three, or... at least two, one for 120 yd and one for the 136 yd targets.

How are you doing ms air gun angie nice video as all ways I have medium sized game pest been looking at getting another 25 cal but I dont like having to deal with hand pump or compressor or scuba tanks I have been looking at this rifle and the senca Aspen that rick did the video on the aspen has my full attention but the problem with that pump I had a few of those guns before they were the nova freedom wich one out of these two do you recommend and once again nice video

My avenger likes the JSB 33.95, Hades, H&N Hunters/Hunter extreme, H&N crows and grizzlies @ 50 yrds. My reg is set @ 2600 and my hammer spring is 1.5 turn from being maxed out. Pretty much hits hole in hole and or touching. Guess it depends on the gun.
@@swingonthespiral Yes, the hades expand well, so does the H&N terminators, the H&N hunters, H&N hunter extreme and the crows. The H&N line is also cheaper than the JSB's. Also you will definitely get the pop that you are seeking. Will warn you the exit wound leaves a large hole with the pellets I named.
@@anthonygillespie4523 I've used the h&n hunter extreme and they make a nice little pop, but they aren't nearly as accurate as the JSB heavy mk II. Just pre-ordered some hades.
@@swingonthespiral My most accurate is the terminators, and the hunters, not the hunter extremes, but different guns will like different pellets, just depends on the gun. Happy popping lol
Love the video, so far in my AV 25, the JSB kings and FX hybrid slugs shoot excellent, been had time of mark 2s and the original king heavy 34 grainers, just haven't gotten to them yet because the two I'm running out of the gun is shooting so well, especially the hybrids at distances over 60yrds, I'm kind of Leary about using the heavies because of the drop at long distances, would love to see a video of you testing the heavies at 75-100yrds😊
Hi Angie If you had to choose from the new air venturi avenger wood stock .25 or the gauntlet 2 in .25 which one would you lean towards? I'm on the fence on which one to get..
My Avenger likes the King 25 a lot. But I will be getting a tin of the King Heavy. I know some folks don’t like the plastic stock but I prefer an all weather gun. I did add strips of skateboard tape the the forearm for a better grip. 🫡
I have had my Avenger for over a year and finally got a compressor and scope. I bought the JSB Pellets that you shot at the end. I use JSB in my 177 and 22 springers. My question for you is: What PSI do you have the gun set at and did you tweak the hammer at all? Thanks....Dave
in a previous video i believe she said she got max power without wasting air at 2400 i think with the hammer turned IN 2.5 or 2.75 turns..... if im not mistaken
