codenames is a party card game where two teams compete by each having a "spymaster" give clues that can point to multiple words on the board. air war comes from a codenames game where for one of the hints shimario said "air war" and in his frustration, justgamer yelled "what the fuck is an air war?" their team then lost.
poll mine is a game where players are split into two teams of adventurers trapped in a cave by an evil witch. to escape, all players answer an opinion-based poll of eight options in order of preference. afterwards, each team takes turns opening one from a set of doors, each marked by an answer from the poll. car boat came from a poll mine game where the question was "what would be a cool feature to have for a spy car?" and walkawesomemovies was sure that nobody picked the option of having a car that can turn into a boat.
