New York is a dangerous state, and New Jersey is portrayed by looking like hell, so it’s really cool to see both of you guys fight (I’m from California BTW)
@@Director_Mylob44ok to be fair the crime rate in nyc is a lot better then California’s crime rate, also we don’t have any dangerous wildfires or storms, alsooooooo 400,000 people out of 100,000 people are criminals in nyc whilst 500,000 people out of 100,000 people are criminals in California
As a native Ohioan it surprises me very little that they had the willingness and weaponry to conquer so many states and surprises me even less that they had absolutely no capacity to maintain beneficial alliances or govern the land effectively, ending up with by far the most revolts. This all checks out.
I'm surprised that Oregon was even on here, like I have had people who live in California and Washington ask me- "what state do you live in" and I say Oregon and they are like "what is that? i have never heard of it?" and every single time i'm shocked. we are the forgotten state.
It always baffles me how many people don't know our country's own geography.. I understand we were taught this in like 4th grade, but still.. Did you pay attention at all in school?
@itsluxv989 as an Alaskan I'm horrified to see Alaska as one SIXTH of its actual size (three times the size of your state) we would have won otherwise. P.S. I promise I have nothing against Texas it's one of my favorite states, to hot for me though.
Could you imagine revolting against a tyrannical government for years, declaring your independence, setting up a government, only for god to be like: "You're too weak, goodbye!"
i would love to see a version of this game that actually takes geographical features into account like mountain ranges, deserts, rivers, major resources, etc
As A Hong Konger, I Supported Florida At The Start, But Sadly It Is Deleted. Then I Went From The Depression To Support California, Texas And Alaska, But Sadly Alaska Is Deleted, And California And Texas Fought Each Other. Soon, When Ohio Is Expanding Their Land, I Was Like: 🖕🙄🖕 But Then Wyoming Got Defeated, And At That Moment I Felt Like California Is Winning, But Mississippi Somehow Made Me Think Texas Can Win, Because They Literally *Joined* Texas 😅 Then Texas And Nebraska Became Allies 😳 Then, When I Didn't Even Notice, California Is Dying 😅 Then The Next Moment California And Ohio Both Joined Texas?! That's A Lot Happening! But What Happens Next Is That Texas And Nebraska Are Now The Only Two Left! 😮 Then I Didn't Even Know That Texas And Nebraska Broke Their Alliance And Fought Each Other! And The Most Interesting Thing Is That When Nebraska Is Dying, It's In The Form Of Florida! 😲 But, Texas Wins And I Am Very Happy And I'm Literally *OVER THE MOON* !
As a Texan I was getting kinda angry at the ineptitude of the state to win any land towards the beginning of the video despite having one of the better starting positions. Like Alaska and Colorado were just eating away at us little by little. I was fully expecting us to get knocked out soon enough, and even when the tides turned and we were massive with our capital being so close to Nebraska I expected us to be killed in a push from them
As a Nebraskan, I had a lot of hope but it disappeared when Texas moved its capital back to Houston. I’m surprised my state got 2nd, and that it held up against Texas as long as it did.
I do wish the 5 year thing was taken more seriously, because it ended up being a big timeline change and altered result, and the land added to Alaska too. I know it’s just a game but a version with no changes and steady additions would be better
Yeah new orgen should have gone before Montana which would have given the latter a chance to expand into areas more accessible than those Wyoming would have been able to reach. Wyoming might have then gone next and MT could have controlled a huge section of the West/NW. Ohh well
@@RepentandbelieveinJesusChrist5 I was seven years old and it didn't take me shit to figure out that there is no god. When you're gone, you're gone. If you wanna believe in a god that will let everybody burn eternally for a bad what, 80 years on earth? Go ahead and live your life that way. Don't have fun and live your best life for nothing in the end. That's not somebody I want to kiss up to or somebody that is even real. That is majorly unfair and awful, and I'm not ever living like that. You do you, boo.
Yeah, but for a minute there shit was dicey. We took over a little bit of land and then just started getting our shit kicked in during every battle until Colorado collapsed. Had me worried for a minute
Fun fact: alaska is the largest state, they say you can fit three texas inside of alaska (which was not accurately represented by this simulation, because they used the inset map size)
Hey iSight, for Alaska and Hawaii to do something you have to go into “scenarios” click on the map you used and click “Edit” and make a crossing after clicking the light blue button and the save the scenario. The crossings will show up as a lighter color of whatever state controls the water.
As someone who was born in Nebraska by chance, but was too ashamed to ever admit it to the friends I grew up with in Texas, I see this as a dominating victory for me.
Well, I would have thought that it would have gotten destroyed a lot sooner because it's relatively small and sandwiched between California and Washington.
Lol, I thought this was gonna be a tier list and was absolutely ready to throw hands in defense of my state, but this was so much better than I could have imagined
I’m from Wisconsin and I am so glad our immediate first move was to reclaim (give or take a surprisingly small margin) our historical claim on the Upper Peninsula.
Idk if anyone else has said this, but being a SoDak resident at 9:36 That area of the U.S is known as the Midwest Territories. They include ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, WI, IL, IN, MI, and OH. To be more specific ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, and MO are known to be West North Central, while the other states are the East North Central.
Not wyoming, but a utahn. I knew we prolly eerent gknna win this nor do i really want us to, so i was rooting for california, mcoloroado and wyoming. I was genuinely furious when wyoming went down. Biggest plot twist of the century
Omg, Ravenlie caught me off guard. I love your commentating energy. As a Californian, they fought well. Didn’t lose just join force didn’t know you can do that.
We got 2nd, and battled it out for quite a while with the one state everyone expected to win, tbh if Texas didn't unite with Cali and Ohio we might've stood a better chance
When all of those trade workers that are contracted out of Illinois to the rest of the country because “bad weather” are gone? When you want things done right…
As an Ohioan, i was rooting hard for Ohio the entire time, and was so happy, but not very surprised, to see our massive successes in talking over the entire east coast. However, the downfall of Ohio at the end was heartbreaking to see lol.
I know, right? We got screwed by the RNG of a bunch of revolts happening all at once before he turned them off. Meanwhile, Texas benefitted from one of the biggest, most isolated areas suddenly opening up just for them to conquer
Best reply. :D Canadians were probably like, "Yeah, we saw all this coming a mile away," and sat back with popcorn to watch. Every time a state died, there would be an empathetic "Sorry. Good job, though."
As a Texan I was impressed on what winner it was! I thought it will be 1 out of 50 to win! But Texas acted tough on that one! GG! Edit: This is the most likes I ever had in a comment!
As a native of Wyoming, I was rooting for Wyoming. I was shocked when Wyoming gained so much landmass and survived as long as it did. But even though the state I was rooting for didn't win, I was still satisfied with its performance.
new orgen should have gone before MT and then MT and WY would have fought over the scraps for who would go next. Whoever won would have controlled a huge section of the west.
Our reign was pretty long lasting, we aren't very powerful of a state and in reality we would have no chance fighting against all of our neighboring states like that
@@Stealing_Your_Raccoons Yeah, unlike New York and California, I have heard that both of these two states are the worst that I have ever seen. No offense.
@@RedactedAnonymous10 Lmao fair fair. I'll only compromise with San Diego weather, Texas football / bbq (it's not an exaggeration... it's that good) and Nebraska trails.
As a Mississippian, I'm glad we made the top 5. And we didn't die at least, we just united with Texas. Which is the only state I'd want to unite with. So works for me! Lol Great video!
The fact my state made it as far as it did only to get deleted was extremely painful. Edit: just as we came back via revolt he then decided to disable revolts and immediately deleted us without even giving us a chance. Honestly he just scared of us 😂
You played this out like a kid Simulating his favorite team against his rival in Madden but then switched the controller to the other side to make sure his team wins. I demand a Recount!! 🤣
for those who do not know, the countries need a specific type of like passage which is painted on to the water for them to be able to cross it. you can see them because they are lighter, and that is why Hawaii and Alaska could not get over the water.
