An AirAsia pilot has won a major battle against the airline he was a part of. He had complained about safety standards. Aviation regulator DGCA has suspended two Executives of AirAsia India over safety violations.

Why no media channel is asking the govt for the prices of Aviation Fuel in India compared with prices in other sub continent countries. Govt is charging high prices from airlines leading to high operating cost. We know Air Asia got what they deserved but we need some discussion and review on the impact of high oil prices which are making Airlines to change their SOPs and push passengers safety to a corner.

While Gaurav Tanejas actions are very honorable, whistle blowers always get affected adversely in the long term..... Based on what history tells us..... Personally, as a fan of Capt. Gaurav, I wish him well and hope everything works well for him as a pilot who is super passionate aviator.... In today's world, he would be an ideal fit for airlunes like Singapore, Qantas, ANA etc, who never compromise safety.... Inside India.... I don't know... Airlines who put safety on the backseat will always be shy to employ whistle blowers...

think of this the other way. He is a huge name in Indigo. He was friends with upper management. He's a huge vlogger who brought forward something necessary. He brought a corporation to its knees and made them pay, and in other ways, helping other airlines who will benefit from their fall. Indigo would welcome him with open arms, especially because Indigo has his wife as a junior captain, and Indigo itself has a spotless record

Shicyx yes it was air India express in the accident but the we can observe the similarities in both the cases. DGCA had warned and sent notices to the airport authorities but nothing was done and has most likely contributed to the crash.Similarly no coverage was being given to Gaurav’s complaints but after an accident he is being given attention so I’m trying to say that in India we need accidents to occur after which only people’s eyes open.

My question why civil aviation is so impotent that they can not review to point out such gaps , In fact sensitive sectors like banking, aviation should fall under independent regulatory authorities who should review the policies of all businesses in respective sectors proactively to avoid any expected damage

so much respect for capt. gaurav taneja but the sad part is that he is strongly baised towards the BJP and the way he talks about some issues, it's clear that he watches R bharat and zee news and those channels never even touched his story. In his recent vlog where he went to statue of unity, he kind of dissed dhruv rathee and ppl were literally appreciating that in the comments section of his vlog while dhruv was the only youtuber who backed his story in my knowledge. i feel he maintains a certain image just so his channel doesn't suffer.

He deserves to get his job back, u cannot ruin a person's career who saved the lives of so many people by raising the safety issues. I literally feel so bad for him, that a person who choose aviation after completing his IIT just to live his passion, gets suspended just because he raised safety alligations. DGCA should help him get his job back. Let's trend a hashtag on Twitter just to get his job back :)

This is happening in every tech field. The techies are bullied by managment & often fired for wrong or even personal reasons as there are always someone available to take over the vacancy. Some times techies are intentionally exposed to unrealistic or over-pressurizing situations to frustrate them & label them as inefficient. Management needs to come from the experienced techies otherwise they won't understand operations, pressure, challenges, etc.
