Richard, I seriously wish there were some better way for me to thank you, feel free to reach out to me if you ever need an honest testimonial. Over the last two years I've been watching your channel and really diving into this space, and finding your channel was one of the best things that could've happened to me. Last year I bought a SFH and turned it into an STR. The success that this first home is bringing has been beyond what I could've imaged, and I seriously owe so much of that to you and your great content here on this channel. Thanks a million Richard.
For someone brand brand new into the airbnb str world... where should I begin on your videos? I've watched many already but do you have recommendations on which ones of yours to watch to learn the process from beginning to end?
Love your teaching! I need advice on how to position multiple homes (three) one of which we love but really we will use all three for short term rental or events. Do we LLC them all? How do we save most with homestead, insure properly? We will use them all part time for personal and part time for short term rental. We need best approach for part timers.. this is not our day job- it will be in 5-7 years.
I’m going into a unique market in Western NC where the demand is high but the good choices are few both for vacationers and homeowners. There is huge demand right now for log cabins and mountain style homes. So I’ve purchased a lost to build a cabin on for air bnb but all the builders I’m talking to say they are so busy it will be 2-3 years before it’s built. I’ve been trying to figure out how to figure out the financing, and hoping I can buy a cabin I’ve found that already is being used successfully as an air bnb. This is going to be a huge loan if I can get it. I have an excellent FICO but always considered high debt to income ratio due to husband’s business. I’ll keep listening.
I acquired a very unique log home on an island in Michigan and am currently getting ready for the 2022 season which will be my first. I'm consideringnselling the property as it has a LOT of potential and would need more funding than I have to develop the property. Is there a good place to list this property for sale that might appeal to STR investors?
For a while we had: "It's Richard, Airbnb Superhost." Then it became "It's Richard, professional real estate developer." And now, "It's Richard, professional fund manager." Follow the bouncing ball, I guess.
