I boht this because a can of Badger propellant was on offer for like $30! The compressor got around that need and is perfect for my occasional touch up paint on my cars. I have to say, the little manual/brochure that came with it was pretty sparse. There are no instructions about using the press/pull function for air/paint, so that alone made your video worth the watch for this newbie. I appreciate the quick walkthrough of the disassembly. You might do a photo closeup of bits like nozzles nest time, but I got the gist. In short, a great tutorial for my new gizmo. So, time to paint that paint chip. Thanks!
Awesome demo Dan!! Looks like a great system to work with. I would enjoy a system like that to do helmet graphics, panels, and some body painting. Thank you for what you do for us in the airbrush industry!!! Awesome job!!
I would use this on my mural work for those small details that are difficult to obtain with my spray paint. Would be an awesome addition to my mural work!!! Thanks for the vid!
I have the same model love how it works .The neo for iwata metal cups fit right on the airbrush.i would love to have another kit!! Good luck everyone. Will be a great birthday present win for me.awesome video by the way
Awesome breakdown. I’d actually give this to my friend/coworker who I got into modeling recently because he cannot afford an airbrush at this time. He’s been hand painting his models and keeps telling me how he wish he had an airbrush.
Thanks for the demo, been thinking about getting into airbrushing for model kits. The portability seems like an great option for not having a dedicated station and when away from home. The 2 batteries is a great bonus as a backup.
Man I just fell in love with your channel. It's answering all of my questions and saving me dozens of hours of time. If I were fortunate enough to win that airbrush kit, I would use it to spray light-bodied stains on laser engraved art pieces, masked using the mylar stencil method you showed in a previous video. It would allow me to get so much more contrast in the shadows and highlights. I don't have an airbrush kit but I think it would take my art to the next level.
Tommy, that is very nice of you to say and I am so happy to hear you like the channel. If you ever have any questions just give me a shout. Thanks for the comments and thanks for watching.
I d like to win this guy ,so I can airbrush later at night ,not waking up the spouse when my dinosaur compressor kicks in ;-) I d be painting on my aluminium composite panels , some hockey helmets and a bike brain bucket
Great video. I didn't even know these things existed. I just ordered one using your link. If it works it will be better than lugging my air tank around.
T C and S, That sounds cool. I have been looking into getting into N scale. Figure I can make a really cool setup in a relatively small area. Thanks for watching and entering.
Yet another quality video!! Good thorough explanation of this kit. This would be a great kit to get my 14 year old daughter into airbrushing. Thanks for all the informative videos you do. My family loves when a new video of yours comes out 😎👍🏼
br, I love to hear when people are enjoying the channel. It really helps me make the next video and keep going. And that's really cool if your daughter would give it a try. Thanks for entering and watching.
Looks interesting and should be good for priming minatures. I wish they would sell it without the airbrush cheaper. I have 3 airbrushes and don't need another one.
Great video, this would be a awesome starter kit for some one you wants to try airbrushing without spending a lot of money. If I won this giveaway that's what I would be doing starting to learn how to airbrush. thanks Dan.
I have been looking for this compact airbrush. I watched many videos, but yours seems to be the most detailed. I plan on dedicating this airbrush to cake decorating, so I will be putting in edible ink. Do you think this would be a good airbrush for that?
I love my mat. It is a permanent part of my bench and always has something on it. But yes, a missed opportunity. I should have had the mat there when I was taking the airbrush apart.
I'm still unsure about a cordless. Battery life, the super low PSI with the airbrush. 40-60 minute continuous work time is nice. .3 Needle 2 oz cup. Super awesome that its a C Charge battery, wonder if it would charge my phone so I can watch more of your videos! Is there a lock for the needle lock so it doesn't loosen or tighten while using it? How is the grip? Any suggestions about grip attachments?
Angelita, yes there is a needle nut. The grip is typical and I never tried any type of grips so I can't comment. The compressor performed well. I think this is something cool to have but it is no substitute for a primary compressor. I absolutely love my 2 gallon Fortress. I have a review on the 1 and 2 gallon as well. Thank you so much for the questions and comments and thanks for watching.
@@TheAirbrushGarageWhen or if you try any grips, for the thumb and middle finger, I will be the first in line to purchase any recommendations. I purchased for my first airbrush a really terrible product (Deepdepth found on Amazon) after looking into this company, and emailing them, I cannot get any response. They sold me an airbrush without a needle packing ring and with the help of your videos, I was able to diagnose the problem and find a temporary solution using a Luminess makeup airbrush I had in storage. I am considering buying an IWATA gravity fed double action but not sure which to choose just yet. Thank you for your response, I'm a big fan and I look forward to seeing more of your videos. :)
Angelita, Iwata is my #1. You can't go wrong with and Iwata. If its a gravity feed you want then I recommend and Eclipse hp-cs. Reasonably priced and it is know as the work horse of airbrushes. I have mine for over twenty years and still use it today.
@@TheAirbrushGarage I'm not sure if this helps, but I have this tiny camera I used to record inside the airbrush I have. ru-vid.com/group/PLkPpdyATmByzvaKMaOmV23Srfx3YiUSGa&jct=Av-G4uiDEQQN4zbnj9U1J8tSA5MRsg I want to try this with the Iwata to see the difference in product. Iwata (good products) vs. the terrible brand that I purchased in August.
Very well put together review, that I would love one like that to paint ink art on heavy paper and canvas, that would be very good to have in my studio for my painting projects, I have just started up my Art Studio not very long ago, my money is tight with income for this nicer airbrush kit and have not tried to sell my art work at all, not sure how to even price my art work mostly I just enjoy doing art and for art therapy for my depression issues, and if I was to win I will show my review as well and my art work after I would be the winner, never used airbrush like this this will be my very first and to learn more on airbrush art.And was wondering on airbrush kit on color choice if there is a red color I would love to have this in color red, I love red and golds together lol, Love your channel and your website,How would I enter contests to win this very nice airbrush kit? thank you for a wonderful review
