I'm working on something similar.. just a female head I drew when I was 15 and about a year ago I rendered it digitally in colour to get the values for when I started airbrushing it.. well its been a pig to do because I made alterations in the digital version and creating the exact colours let alone giving all the blurring and smudging techniques I created in photoshop.. I can't bring myself to just do it.. I got to do it the same... and I'm doing it on canvas board .. layers of gesso.. its a nightmare and then you come on and make look so easy...

Is the black pencil a water coulor pencil?

@@garys2618 hi yes it is I would also recommend using one if your doing artwork on a automotive panel as well as you clear coat will go over the top If you used a wax pencil you get problems
