Welcome to my latest RU-vid tutorial on custom painting an electric cooler! In this episode, I'll take you through the step-by-step process of transforming a metal cooler into a work of art.
First, I'll show you how I prepared the surface by removing any flaking paint and applying four coats of clearcoat. I then sanded it smooth using 600 grit sandpaper.
Next, I'll demonstrate the use of LiME LiNE Tape, a flexible tape that allows you to create panels and designs in your artwork. I'll guide you through how to lay out the tape to achieve the desired patterns and designs.
In addition, I'll teach you how to create a stencil that will give a 3-D cube look to your cooler. You'll be amazed at the effects you can achieve with just a simple piece of vinyl masking.
Creating a sunray pattern is another technique I'll share. Using only a piece of masking tape, you'll learn how to make your cooler stand out with a stunning sunray design.
For a realistic organic look, I'll also demonstrate the use of a woodgrain stencil. This will add depth and texture to your cooler, making it truly unique.
To top it all off, I'll finish the cooler with a 1-inch stripe on both the top and bottom using LiME LiNE variegated Leafing. This will elevate your cooler to the next level and make it truly eye-catching.
