I am a pilot on the Boeing 737 800 and the max . The big difference is when I move my yoke or manipulate it the first officers yoke also moves at the same time Complete different with airbus , when you manipulate the side stick the other pilot doesn’t notice it , his side stick doesn’t move The downing of Air France 447 wouldn’t had happen if it was a Boeing plane . The co pilot stalled the plane holding his side stick up but no one noticed it . When both pilots use the. Sidestick at the same time , a audial warning comes on “ Dual input “ effectively cancelling each other out . The other pilot had no Idea he was stalling the plane pulling back on his side stick . If it had a yoke instead he would Immediately see that the yoke was manipulated by the other pilot So the side stick is part of the reason that plane crashed. I’m Not qualified for airbus but I have tested it in simulators , I prefer the yoke system It’s a matter of opinion

Airbus literally didn't change the cockpit design for the A320neo and kept the old one, while the 737 Family has multiple cockpit changes. 737 MAX cockpit is more modern as it shares the same screen design with 787 and 777X, bigger and more modern
They are both special in their ways. Airbus has simpler controls and a more automated cockpit overall. Its stick is Fly By Wire. That is just an electronic input, but the boeing has a yoke that is hidraulically connected to the control surfaces. I would prefer the Airbus because of the simplicity, but i would also prefer Boeing because of its safety.
Well since I’m reading the a320 encyclopedia I can’t say it’s better or not but I am enjoying learning about the a320 and I think it’s an amazing plane.
@@vffgaming491 I just like that the artist thought it was a good idea to put marching band styled percussion instruments in the song. It just makes the song sound more interesting.
I like Boeing more . I like the systems and looks of the cockpit more. People will say that Airbus is simpler, but they're both easy to use after some practice.
Both models are excellent. But I found that most pilots and first officers prefer the Airbus to Boeing. One of the benefits if even a small one is that you don't have to have a yoke in between your legs you can move around like on a regular seat. And I've also heard that Airbus is a bit more Hi-Tech. But then again the 787 are in a class of its own as far as high-tech goes so they're both incredible.
A350 costs really low while the 777 costs too much. Also, think before you say something. The 737 MAX has lots of failures and crashes like just 5 years, there are 2 crashes and 1 incident involving this plane while the A320neo (the goat) still hasn't crashed. You guys have to think before saying something. If you say that Airbus's "retard" is ugly and hated it. The plane isn't trying to insult the pilots. Think, the retard is the plane telling when the pilot needed to put the thrust lever to idle to slow the plane while the Boeing's does not say anything like the Airbus's. Overall, people did not think whatsoever before deciding which one's better. You might think that Boeing came first that mean Airbus is a copy but which came first does not have anything to do with which one's better. Think before you decide to do something. Why do I have to repeat myself?
@@mellewisselo8025 I just don't find interest. You don't need to love fighter jets to be an aviation enthusiast. I'm more into commercial aviation than fighter jets.
For some reason I always found the cockpits of boeing plays nicer to look at during the day, and airbus during the night. Something about airbus's nighttime lighting just hits differently.
Honestly, I prefer airbus, because it’s easy, it’s understandable, and it’s what I’m used to, but I don’t hate Boeing pilots for liking what they do, it all matters based off of whether you are a good sport or not
Lockheed and boeing and bombardier be like: hey boi(airbus) ready to get demolished? Airbus:please no Boeing and his gang: Alr then get rid of your company Airbus:BRO THIS IS A DEATH OR DEATH SITUATION Boeing and his gang:pulls a gun Airbus:fine, shoot me Boeing and the gang:shoots all the rounds and celebrates
Pls stop believe Airbus has copy Airbus. Both are good. I like Airbus a little bit more because the Stall Alarm of Boeing aeroplanes Is really ugly. It’s my opinion. Pls respect it
@@DrakeDHDerr it’s because it’s better to buy a European plane in Europe due to maintenance and just because it’s better and more reliable as we’ve seen over the last few years with the MAX and 777X.
@ebbu.planespotting1903 lol.. that argument made sense for BMWs 50 years ago but it makes zero sense today. They literally build Airbusses in Alabama.. along with BMWs!
The yoke looks more cool than the side stick, but the problem is boeing has manuel trimming system where as in airbus you have automatic trimming system which reduces the workload of the pilots
Aorbus is easier to learn because of the instrumental that was all screen so easier to use, meanwhile boeing in other hand was more complex, it was more suitable for professional pilot
@CaptainScoutyeah Boeing does not have the best track record recently, but Boeing was here for longer than airbus therefor there are bound to be more crashes, and most crashes are pilot error but ether way airbus and Boeing have beautiful planes eg 747, 737, a380 and a350:))
Try and plow a field with a train. Also did you know that Lamborghini is a tractor manufacturer? That’s why it has a bull for a logo. You use the right tools for the job. If you want to fly passenger, you use a jet airliner.. lol.
Back in the day, Boeing used to create iconic and amazing planes like the Boeing 747’s and Boeing 757’s, now they lost their way with the Boeing 737 MAX being grounded.
@@Adumzzinthehouse Bruh, I wasn’t referencing to the crashes I thought the original comment thought a 737 Max cockpit was a 787 one. Don’t assume stuff toxic 6yr old.
A closer (and more fair) comparison between Airbus and Boeing would be the A310 (and older) and most Boeing aircrafts since the older Airbusses (before the A320) had yokes and were non-flybywire aircraft, which gave Airbus and Boeing similar flight-deck/pilot philosophies.
I would call this a fair comparison, as it is these two aircraft that are actually competing at the moment. Also, the a320 cockpit is quite similar as it was when it was introduced over 35 years ago. The 737 on the other hand, did have much more significant changes and updates the last years. The problem is that it is based on an older design
