I think they are also pretty thankful that Airbus isnt picking on them because of the max Desaster. They all know pretty well its hard to bring back a plane into the market with bad Reputation.
indahooddererste no one uses accidents as promotion for their organisation. It’s really bad taste. Moreover even though airbus and Boeing directly compete with each other, they don’t want bad things to happen to each other. Example in sports, everyone has a favourite team/player to win, but that doesn’t mean they want the competition to get injured.
The number of times "shortcut", "pretty sure", "let's hope" and "you doing okay" was said in this video is only a fraction of the times it was said while building the 737 Max.
Yeah... I don't think so. Do I need to bring up Boeing's dirty tactics and lobbying when it came to the USAF tanker competition ? This video is meant for people with no long-term memory, I suppose.
I wouldn't have called them competition. Boeing and Airbus specialize in larger medium and wide body aircraft. Bombardier and Embraer specialized in small private and narrow body aircraft. Different markets of the plane building industry
They need each other for motivation. The disappearance of any of them would result in a gradual degradation of the quality of the other and (after a very short term of higher revenues) collapsing the business. Not to mention out safety & ticket prices.
@@GalvinPlayz They've always been along with each other since day 1. Healthy Competition has cause the two to come so far from were they've both started. Respect for both is important
Airbus only made it this far due to the enormous HELP from the EU. NB: Actually every EU citizen should be a Shareholder, but only a few corrupt politicians are privileged.
As a AirBus fan boy, this has put me in tears of great team spirit and competition. Both of you guys are great companies. Congrats on Boeing for the 100th birthday and congrats o AirBus for 50th birthday
I reckon it might have even gotten further with more competition! Mcdonell Douglas, British Aerospace, Tupolev others. It's a duopoly and I do love them both, but perhaps with more competitors things might have developed in a slightly different direction!
Neither of you are even pronouncing the company correctly, it's McDonnell Douglas, also don't forget de Havilland who showed that high altitude passenger travel was possible with the Comet.
Thanks Boeing, I just talked to a friend of me today if you would do something on our anniversary like we did 2 years ago. And here we are, I have tears in my eyes....😢....the Apollo reference made me very proud. Soon we fly together with your SLS and our Orion-ESM! Thanks for the rivalry and the partnership! We would not be wehre and who we are, without you! Cheers from an Airbus employee.
Gianni people just complain and complain about it. It’s sad. And it wasn’t done as a joke, just a simple nod or subtle acknowledgement. Also this comment is underrated as it was stolen
Sukhoi: Does one of you have tips on lightning proofing a computer? Or do we need to do what we always do..... ask the GRU to steal it from the French.
All 737 max still grounded and so is this party, awesome! I'm lovin it! That awesome birthday party deep under ground with a tasteless virtual birthday cake makes me like totally forget that your 737 max planes are still grounded.
@HISmercies nbounties I'm going to explain the comment, since you clearly didn't understand what it meant. The comment you replied to said: "Airbus: when u going to fix 737 max??" The comment is a joke. It's supposed to be from the point of view of Airbus, asking Boeing when their going to fix the 737 max. It has nothing to do with reality. You missed the point of the comment.
I read the title and i thought this was gonna be one of those you know companies against companies sort of thing but turns out it was sort of a “congratulations, Airbus”
Great example of good sportsmanship and clean rivalry among two amazing companies. We all have our favorites, and we all have our sides, but we can always take a moment to appreciate aviation as a whole. Both sides have had their moments and their downfalls, but it's great to see two companies appreciate each other in such a large rivalry! Keep up the amazing work both Boeing and Airbus!
Lovely video!! An example of great sportsmanship between two of the world's biggest rival companies!! Congratulations Airbus on your 50th anniversary!! From a Boeing fan.❤
*Boeing fan* Well my friend. I dont want to roast you with the max stuff. FAA does a good job with that. I wish you luck on your future aircraft. You shouldn't be investing in low riders if you get what I mean. ;)
0:40 Imagine hearing the engineer said "This is the shortcut I am looking for" then "I'm pretty sure it's this way" with that lack of confident. rofl I wouldn't fly that plane or even visit that factory. lol
We love you Boeing But don't repeat that 737 Max MCAS kind of thing We love healthy competition Because it benefits you, Airbus, we the aviation enthusiasts, and thr general public Congrats Airbus Looking for some special version of A350 to compete 777x 777x is sexy
The MCAS-related crashes are best attributed to a failure in pilot training. Pilots that were paying attention during the MCAS training and actually learned how this is different than any non-MAX 737 have never had a problem. It's the ones who snored through MCAS training that have had problems and crashed two planes. Boeing's response has been to issue a software fix that gives more fault tolerance in the system even if you have a pilot that slept through MCAS training. So it's a fix that compensates for poor pilot training, which is always the fault of the airline doing the pilot training, and not Boeing.
Dank. Umm. Because there are 346 dead because of Boeing’s “shortcuts”. And the video shows Boeing taking shortcuts. Tone deaf, much? There are 393 planes grounded, which will cost their buyers around $350 million in losses. I’m surprised this video is still live. Probably will be pulled when the CEO has to stand down.
ggrrr1000 shortcut. Nice research bud. Moving the engine and making it larger isn’t easy. There’s variables. And a lot of them. The variable that killed people is: Being able to switch of an anti stall feature in case it malfunctions because a sensor on the nose of the plane broke. That’s the variable they missed. Chill out.
