Airfix's 1/72 Scale Heinkel He.111 P-2 2015 NEW MOULD
6th Buid in the series
By far my best model so far in the series. The new mould was great to finish and finish to a high standard. Camouflages look great and panel lines are nice and deep for washes and other weathering techniques

For such a small kit the detail looks awesome. Was thinking about getting this kit and making a diorama, the box art is based on a true story and made into a film titled 'Into the white' - good film. I've got a massive 1/48 version of this but the detail isn't as good as in this one. Thanks for sharing, subbed too. Yours Mike :)

The orginal plane for this model is at the Norwegian Airforce museum at Gardermoen,Forsvarets Flysamling.It the only left of this Version in the world.. Flysam.no

Just a suggestion but you could put blood splatters on the gunners wind ow like in the film using citadel blood for the blood god. Nice model

Wow, one hell of a difference between their old and new kits of this plane. Your build looks great. Got me to thinking of doing a Luftwaffe '46 scenario of a Me-262 mounted on this plane for the 2nd invasion of Britain.

This looks like a great kit. I really like the understated color of the upper fuselage. The B of B music is cool too. You did a great job!

He111p was earlier model heinkel used early in ww2 eventually replaced by he111h

I am a big fan of your work it is truly amazing. I am doing the h-6 version in a similar paint scheme. I have a multiple varnished from testors, Tamiya, Vallejo, and VMS. Are you sure that the finish should be flat or gloss?

Thank you so much. I'm pleased to hear that my videos are helping you out. The finish of these from what I've seen in references is matte. Sometimes slightly satin in the more used aircraft as they get weathered

Thanks UKscalemodeller! It was great, new improved instructions are good, panel lines are very defined and plenty of them too. I plan do try out more of the new moulded kits soon

One thing is wrong,the spinners for the proppeler is wrong color,its should be black,the crew members was at Our museum and told us to Paint it black

Vincent Roelofs This was when I hadnt learned how to fill panel gaps. Have a look at tbe H-6 version which is much improved! ☺

Why did you not get rid of the nasty seam just behind the flight deck? The nose clear parts could have been made to fit better

Yes, I think it's well worth it. The fitting is great in the build phase, and once painted it can look pretty realistic with little effort. Thanks for the sub too!
