Join us on our trip to Paris! In the first part of this vlog, we travel on Airfrance in Business Class on their 777-300ER from LAX to CDG on Airfrance Flight 65. See how we travel as a family of 3 with an elementary school aged child on a long, international flight.
We begin our journey at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) where we enjoy food and drinks in the OneWorld Club Lounge in Terminal B (formerly the Tom Bradley International Terminal). We then board our Airfrance flight for the 11 hour journey from Los Angeles to Paris where we have seats in the luxurious business class cabin. We enjoy wonderful French cuisine and share the business class seats and amenities, including a tour of seat 6L and the lavatory.
Once we arrive in Paris, we check into the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile where we booked a Regency Suite King. We had access to the Regency Club Lounge and had a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower. We spent the evening of this first day visiting the Eiffel Tower and a nearby Christmas market.
This flight and our entire trip to Paris was paid for in full using credit card loyalty points, miles, and/or cash.

I'm coming to this video several months after the fact, but glad I found it. We're going to France in 2 months, and leaving from LAX. We're also traveling Air France business class. Your video gave me a very good idea of what this will be like. Thanks so much!

I’ve only used A.F. business once on my regular long haul, however it was so good I will be booking them again this year. Couldn’t fault the service, food and comfort.

Wow! that is the way to travel. The traveling is a vacation in itself. I can't believe the food they gave you even starting at the lounge. The tower is impressive, and Christmas Market looks like so much fun. Waiting for next. 🙂

@@InAMagicalMood there is no doubt, but I gotta say flying with the family of three all the way to France is absolutely amazing. I always wanted to go to Paris and visit Champs- Elysees and the Eiffel tower and the Arc de Triomphe and the Lourve museum.

@@T.w.m1039 We did have to wait a few hours for our room to be ready, but we were able to wait in the Club Lounge since we stayed in a Club room.

Hi.. I’m taking the same route, same plane. Traveling with my toddler. Wondering if you recommend row 6 or row 20 (last on business). Was it disruptive to be in front of the break area/bathroom? Thanks!

Thanks so much for watching! We sat in Row 6 and weren’t bothered by any noise from the lavatory or galley area. We really enjoyed being in that smaller section of the cabin, it made it very easy to get around and take stretch breaks in the galley or get snacks/drinks at any time. Have a great trip!

Some vendors took credit cards but we used Euros for most of the booths at the Christmas markets. Thanks so much for watching!

Thanks for sharing… we are going soon. Was your wife able to help your daughter if she needed something? I’ll have an almost 3 year old and I’m worried i won’t be able to get to her if she needs something 😕.

Thanks so much for watching! We totally understand what you mean. We found that the seat across the aisle (where Daniel sat) had better access to our daughters seat to help her with blankets, adjusting her seat, etc. The seat where Jenny sat was closer in terms of hearing but it was difficult to reach over into our daughters seat area. Hope that helps!
